Rapists, on average, serve 5 years and get 9 years in a conviction. Robbery sentence is 8 years, drug offenses, 3 years.

The left wants criminal justice reform, they think violent offenders get too harsh sentences and want the Country to soften sentences for rapists, armed robbery, murder, drug dealing etc... They cry, scream in pain, yell... 'this is injustice'.. but they make an exception for - middle aged white men who are Trump supporters.

Roger Stone was caught lying about something totally insignificant which didn't really matter in the end. He gets 9 years! The left thinks this is JUSTICE and protesting ANY attempt to soften this sentence, they want Roger Stone DEAD, in jail. Make Roger Stone a black liberal, under same circumstances, and everyone on the left would be in violent protest, demanding Roger Stone gets, at a maximum, 6 months and that even that is racism.

This is DISGUSTING, PURE EVIL... now things are becoming dangerous, this is persecution - round all white Trump supporters and JAIL them, let them rot in jail.

The judge (Jackson, an Obama late appointee pit bull persecutor) that sentenced Stone to 10 years house arrest with Susan Collins -- which many would view as prescribed torture -- is the same that put Manafort in solitary while awaiting trial.

Problem. A judge can’t put anyone in solitary. It isn’t their responsibility in the process.

This illustrates the problem with the right wing echo chamber. Pure garbage that could be easily fact checked spreads every where. They’re using their audiences lack of knowledge against them.

Also the garbage spread never addresses the issue at hand: don’t look there, look here at this pointless piece of misinformation and be outraged.

You’d think it’s audience would catch on at some point.

    The opposite is true.

"Following a weeklong trial last November, a Washington jury found Stone guilty on all seven felony counts he faced: five of making false statements to Congress, one of obstruction of Congress, and one of witness tampering with both the House Intelligence Committee inquiry and special counsel Robert Mueller's probe.

a sentencing filing Monday, prosecutors from the U.S. Attorney's Office in Washington argued that Stone's conduct was exceptionally sinister because of the importance of those investigations and the danger of overseas influence on U.S. elections.

"Foreign election interference is the 'most deadly adversar[y] of republican government,'” prosecutors from the U.S. Attorney's Office in Washington wrote, quoting Alexander Hamilton's Federalist Paper No. 68."

I do enjoy how Trumpette's love to talk about the founders when they think it's advantageous, but not when their beliefs are antithetical to all the founders stood for.

You are soft selling Roger Stone's conviction.
The sentence recommendation for stone was 7 to 9 years which is within the sentencing limits for these crimes:
He was convicted of 5 counts of Lying under Oath to Congress (the crime that was serious enough to impeach President Clinton)
He was also convicted on 1 count of witness tampering (which can bring up to 20 years in Federal cases)
He was also convicted of 1 count of obstruction (which can bring up to 5 years in federal cases)
He also violated a court gag order several times

If this is "pure evil" you should begin your effort to change the laws not ignore them.

By law Stone remains innocent until proven guilty after a fair trail.
    IOW, Stone is innocent.

What actual evidence can you provide (please, no bullshyte about the foreman which right wing media is putting out there for the consumption of the easily manipulated) to show it wasn't a fair trial?

To which the judge stated she wasn’t threatened by it and thought of it as nothing. That was clearly a joke, perhaps a bad one. The alleged victim here has said, on record, that this was nothing really.

yet you and your party want reduced sentences for violent thugs who rape, kill, rob...

how can you even stand on two legs with such unprincipled values as this

That was kind of Mike 12's point. It is only in places like Russia, China, etc that support two or more separate justice systems that get applied to different groups.

Are you saying his trial was not fair? in what manner?

Much like President Trump he wasn't found guilty. Roger Stone has been found guilty.

How many FBI agents, choppers, assault rifles does it take to arrest two septagenarians, one of which is disabled, for the crime of wanting to make believe he was important by bragging that he spoke to Wikileaks? Is a death penalty in order?

Should a Democrat activist declare her bias before she was named to the jury? Jury forewoman?

You are right- the real crime here is Stone being associated with Trump politics. That alone would be probable cause for prosecution if they could make it stick. It is this attitude which is eroding the party's image, destroying respect for the democrats, belief in their capacity to act honorably in positions of power- to even be seen as law-abiding in general. There's a major shift taking place in our society- a dangerous one, abandoning proven fundamental values and replacing them with immaturity, ignorance and arrogance. This is a dangerous time for all of us- and could get worse before it gets better.

But there was no influence except for Hillary colluding with the KGB according to the results of the $30M Mueller witch hunt. So, how serious was it? The jury forman was a Hillary activist. The judge is a Democrat activist. It should have been a mistrial.

I take that back. The DNC sent Chalupa to collude with Ukraine to attack Manafort and the Trump campaign. Hamilton was right. Is Chalupa in jail?

    Witness tampering:
Conaway began the questioning by bringing up Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Adam Schiff's calls for respect toward witnesses. He then contrasted the guidance from Schiff, D-Calif., against Democrat-led calls to boycott Sondland's hotels in Oregon.

"The chairman also announces at every hearing that he will not tolerate, and I agree with him, any witness intimidation or any threats or any issues of trying to bully a witness," Conaway said. "Congressman Earl Blumenauer from Oregon has in fact called for a boycott of your hotel chain or your hotels in Oregon. I'm assuming he believes that will harm you to the point that you will then be bullied into doing whatever he wants done."

Sondland agreed with Conaway's statement before also confirming the congressman's assertion that Blumenauer's comments "gave rise to demonstrations at your hotels that made customers have to weave in and out of the demonstrators to try to actually get into the hotels."

Is Earl Blumenauer in jail? Has he been indicted?

So you are arguing that because someone else did something that you deem illegal and was not indicted Stone should not be punished? Try that argument next time you are pulled over for speeding and let me know if it works for you.

Roger Stone committed several crimes, was indicted, was found guilty, and will be sentenced. No matter how that is spun you can not change it.
