The U.S. won’t recognize an international taxing organization.

The people vote for socialism, but no one wants to pay for it. That’s human nature. People just want free stuff.

Excellent idea. Where do we get it?
If some guy has a ten million dollar house we could just take it apart,
brick by brick, and give each part to ten million people.
Or, we could give the whole house to the ruling Socialist elite (you
know, Dictatorship of the Proletariat stuff) who will care for us all.
Of course, we shoot the guy who owned the house. He obviously
stole that house from the working class (or he could have been an
actor, an inventor, an entrepreneur ...no matter.)

Your post reminds me of my grandparents during the collectivization period of Communism.

Do you know how it happened?

A suit-dressed Party Man, accompanied by two armed soldiers, goes house by house, with a contract for us to sign, to give all our possessions to the state. To save the nation. To save the people. For the greater good.

My grandfather refused, and actually spent a couple of months in the forest to avoid signing it, hoping this was a phase. He remembers when the State also came and picked him up, replaced his shovel with a gun and sent he was in operation Barbarossa. To save the nation. To save the people. For the greater good.

He was done forever with this State or any other, and the never-ending relationship between plebes and elites. He decided to leave the wilderness of the forest, go at his birth village and gun down the suit-dressed Party Men, and the newly made bodyguard Army.

He failed miserably, most likely because of the alcohol being drunk while thinking of his no return trip to the village.

He spent the next 3 years as prisoner building the Danube Canal, without trial. To save the nation. To save the people. For the greater good.

But you want to give millions in tax breaks to churches, though, to which I say, "hell no." Make those preachers pay taxes.

    Wow. That's an amazing story.
This is where the red color of revolution comes from - you can't just take
things from people without them fighting back.

I understand. But "blue sky research" (ie moneys) is super important 'cos you don't know what it is
you are looking for. Australian scientists were studying radio signals from distant pulsars (radio
galaxies) and discovered WiFi. By way of example.

the entire concept of a world tax. the entire concept that there is an international body with the authority to collect it and a definite hell now to letting any international body tax Americans.

As was seen with England and its attitude towards Brussels controlling its borders, culture,
    economy etc..I suggest two things:
1 - a world taxation system is unlikely
2 - a world taxation is impossible to implement.

There's a way America could - if the idea and implementation
    happened in America itself.

    I'd revolt.

We are already being pushed to the brink by our own Democrats.

No, I agree. Any religious organization should be taxed the same as any other money making business.
Imagine how much poverty could be reduced if the Vatican was forced to pay it's fair share.

Not sure if the Vatican actually has much cash. But the Mormons have about one hundred
billion dollars. You could give every human on earth about $15 each.

Not sure about non profits, as that seems to be a very broad term these days with dubious claims that they are somehow doing good.
    https://topnonprofits.com/lists/best-nonprofits-on-the-web/
As for religious organizations; most states exempt churches form property taxes yet they still have the roads in front of the churches repaired and use the same city/county facilities as everyone else, they just get their part of the bill paid by the taxpayer.
I drive past a number of 'churches' each day that are simply a run down building with a crude sign saying they are a church, and they all have a few travel trailers on the property, with the residents all living there tax free. They don't even open their front gates on a Sunday.
And not forgetting religion has caused the deaths of more people throughout history than anything else.
