The kidnapping/rape/forced marriage issue is the log in this case.

This has been going on in Egypt with the Christian Copts since forever. Their rights in courts are very limited and girls are being kidnapped all the time. When non Muslims were being kicked out by Nassar and Sadat, they had countries to go to, but the Copts are the original Egyptians and have no other country. The reason they're called Copts and not Egyptians, has to do with them being cut off from the Orthodox Churches for not accepting one of the Ecumenical Councils.

I read that an Egyptian Imam said on TV that had it not been a capital offense for a Muslim to convert, Islam wouldn't exist. What's interesting is that he said it with pride. In contrast Christianity believes one's Free Will and one's choice is paramount when seeking unity with God.

It's important to follow stories like this so you know how utterly shyte the rest of the world is.

Funny how the feminists who make a living bashing white males are totally silent about atrocities like this.

They weren't adapted. The Christian west violently oppressed and enslaved about the entire world with those so called "superior" norms and erased other peoples cultures.

So Western culture is not superior to a culture which permits kidnapping?

No actually some cultures are better than others and while there are certainly undesirable aspects of western countries, on balance they're superior.

Iran hanging homosexuals by crane in public, forcing women to wear head coverings, African witch craft killing albino children, cutting off a girls clitorus can all be judged to be barbaric.

What about the human and child sacrifices of Aztec/Myan culture? If that persisted today would it be hand waved off as being just another thread in the rich tapestry of human culture?

Oh, then India should re-adopt Suttee? I guess cannibalism isn't so bad either - especially if you're hungry?

Cannibalism in India? Are you daft? As for Suttee... I can raise you the Jallianwala massacre. Nothing like massacring unarmed civilians.

Why would Iran hang homosexuals, when it was always part of the Islamic world? As for head covering, they were worn by all women at one time - probably to protect from lice. Today they're worn in some churches as a sign of respect. As for burqas, they were worn by Christian widows in the south of Europe until recently. These are cultural standards and they differ from one culture to another, and change from one generation to the next.

What should be permanent are Christian values and laws - since they are civilizing and adaptable to all cultures.

The US admits they got torture facilities around the world, so they can torture anybody they get their hands on, without being able to be liable for it.

Well if you want to talk about massacres, my maternal ancestors suffered the first great one in history, and it so shocked Europe that Alexander Dumas wrote a novel about it and Delacroix's painting of it is hanging in the Louvre. Sixty thousand people were massacred on the island of Chios by the Turks, and the Turks are still threatening them.

Washington does everything. It creates chaos with NGO's for regime changes if countries are not obeying our orders. We have biological labs for who knows what reason in Georgia and Ukraine - and it goes on and on.

The US is not invincible, and our power will wane - and soon. Many Americans sense this and are making preparations in whichever way they can.

    Dude... lol
The international red cross said they are there. GWB admitted they are there. The European courts made 3 countries pay 100.000's of euro's per prisoner for having US black sites where people got tortured on their soil.

    Pick up a newspaper.

You are judging a 3rd world country by our first world standards. I just want you to remember what we were like not so long ago .

Are you under the impression that what defines a country as "third word" is partly its culture?

Now days developing is the better word.
They are countries that need to develop better health care systems, better schools, better ways to bring water and electricity to people.
But yes, culture can enter in there.

So are you saying that one day, given enough time, these kind of countries where stuff such as kidnapping is allowed, will one day make it illegal?
