You may have a point but most people won't care. They will care about the fact that they are doing well and don't want someone who will upset the apple cart, and they will see Bernie as doing just that.

We need someone who won't be seen as doing that. Biden is the best choice for that and I think Klobuchar is also that way

A lot of Sander's policies will be instituted in the next 4 years under ANY Democrat. NONE will be instituted if Trump wins either then or probably EVER. Our first priority must be to defeat Trump, nothing else is really important.

The B I was meaning was Pete Buttigieg. He appears to be the one put in to beat Sanders. If Sanders was allowed to stand for President he would be the one most likely to beat Trump. Biden is going nowhere and would give nothing new. I think the Democrats policy of destroying Sanders will result in Trump being relected. Trump is just a symptom of a problem of both Parties.

Yes. It’s the exact same, he will alienate the middle and be humiliated. The only real Bernie supporters are in Cali and NY, like all of Corbyn’s support was in London.

No, he wasn’t. He wasn’t anything like pre-Thatcher Labour. He was a 1984 Michael Foot style militant marxist, which is why we had Thatcher for 12 years. The same as if labour continue Corbyn’s policies, it will be Boris for 12 years. Labour need to go back to the only thing that has won them an election, nationalist centrism.

Michael Foot was the leader of Labour at the time. Are you trying to say he was not Labour?

Blairism adopting neo liberalism in preference to British Democracy came in after Foot. Kinnoch came in after Foot. John Smith then became leader but died and Blair sprung in to seize the Leadership while Brown was still in mourning. The first person he went to for advice was Thatcher and he sold us down the river so that we now are nothing better than a 'Managed Democracy' sometimes called 'Inverted Totalitarianism'. What Corbyn was offering was a return to social democracy and goodbye to the neo liberalism which currently rules us.

Oh okay. On social issues the Anglosphere has shifted left. On economic
issues it has shifted right. Sanders' Labour Party was quite extreme left
    on both issues.

I believe your analysis is wrong.
On social issues the Conservative party is trying to move the country to the right. Only yesterday an exposed 27 year old eugenicist Conservative advisor left his job because he had been found out, but characters like him speak to the Conservative mindset.
UK Home Secretary has proposed using the threat of starvation in negotiations with Ireland, again an example of the prevailing Conservative mindset. Then we have Prime Minister Boris Johnson describing black people as 'picaninnies with watermelon smiles'.
The UK is racing to the right, but it is a split country, not only splintering of the Union, but of society.
There is talk of bringing the country together but that simply isn't going to happen. Anti racists will never come to agreement with racists for example, those who believe in a National Health Service will never come to terms with Conservatives who want to privatise and profit from it leaving the poor excluded.

I didn't say he wasn't Labour, I'm saying Corbyn was a return to Michael Foot Labour, the worst kind of Labour. Corbyn is a Trotskyite Marxist, and there can be no doubt about that. He is definitely not a democratic socialist. Blair definitely took inspiration from Thatcher, and that's why he was able to lead Labour to victory.

Corbyn is a return to Labour values. You may despise them but that is how it is. It was Blair who changed Labour giving up the work towards making Britain secure in its democracy following Thatcher and endorsing Neo Liberalism. In order to show how he had changed Labour Blair changed the name to 'New Labour'. Corbyn was very much of the same mindset as Tony Benn the best Labour Leader we did not have.

    Oops, I wrote Sander's Labour party. It's Corbyn's.
Re Johnston and picaninnies - that's a rather tame example compared
    to the Labor party's anti-Semitism and anti-Americanism.
I see that Johnston has co-opted many Labour policies - so it can't be
moving too far to the right.
I am Australian, but the UK election intrigues me - it shows that people
will go only so far with PC culture and "woke." And a whole Labour
conference with a sea of Palestinian flags just supports people's
    suspicion about Labour.
I am center Left politically - I don't like where the Left has taken the
Australian, English and American Labour and Democrat parties.

Corbyn was saddled with this Momentum and the 'woke' culture.
These were a tad alien to him, being old Labour.
The old Labour was about trade unions, wages, conditions, the
lot of the working class, traditions of the working class, patriotism,
    the monarchy etc..
The real New Labour is with us now - Corbyn, Bayley, Milne,
    Momentum etc..

Corbyn wants an international shadow post. His interest is the
Middle East. We know where he stands with Jews and Muslims.
100% guarantee it won't be about the one million Muslims in
    Chinese concentration camps.

LOL Why would they ban you for asking that question!

As for Corbyn, yes, Labour had no chance in any elections with Corbyn as the leader of the Labour party. His proposed election policies were bordering on stupid. Whether Sanders is anything like Corbyn, I don't know anywhere near enough about Sanders to comment

Your guarantee became null & void years ago:
Corbyn presses for human rights meeting with Chinese officials

Jeremy Corbyn challenged China's strongman president Xi Jinping over human rights and the dumping of cheap steel during one-on-one talks tonight.

Sanders has one thing in his favor - the boorish, crude, criminal, sexist Donald Trump.

No, no, no. Please do not insult Tony Benn that way. Corbyn is a Trotskyite Marxist. I would suggest you read up on his history in the 70s and 80s. Here is a useful link for you:

New labour was a left-centre idea which was popular in the mid 90s. Clinton won with a similar manifesto, knowing that socialism is dead on arrival come election time. Blair was able to bring together the left and the moderates which enabled him to push through some left-wing policies. Something which a far leftist like Corbyn could only dream of. I'm a Labour member so they are my party.

I knew someone would bring this up.
Yes, there's plenty of Marxists who would "disapprove" of Uncle Joe Stalin, or Mao's policies,
but then spent their days actively protesting America, Britain, Capitalism etc.. Old saying in
South Vietnam after 1975 about the Communists, "Don't listen to what they say, watch what
    they do."
Now Corbyn isn't going to be anti-Chinese, he's not going to wave Uighur flags, support some
Uighur terrorist group, be in "solidarity" with Uighurs etc.. He just going to virtue signal his
"disapproval" of Chinese policy, and move back to the Palestinians again.

You mean something that shows your guarantee to be invalid? So, you're either with them or against them! No middle ground

And people wonder why there is so much hatred...........clearly demonstrated by the Brexit vote in the UK, and since Obama was elected in the US leading to Trump
