No - there is no evidence whatsoever that Obama ordered or even approved any investigation into Russia or Trump. According to you that division is completely independent.
Obama may have been kept informed but there is no evidence he directed the investigation(s) at all. He let the DOJ do its job completely independently. As it should be.
The president should not interfere in the DOJ. If he does (as dirty Donny is doing now) it risks the appearance of political interference or actual political interference.

Yes, that was what the Mueller team told Barr they were going to ask for, before they didn't...which required him to correct their actions

Hmmm...maybe...at least that's what Barr claims. Let's see what he has to say when he's under oath. And, two of the four prosecutors, who resigned from the case, were former members of the Mueller team.

No...they were not. I presume two joined the Stone prosecution after the Mueller investigation closed. But, it doesn't matter. The Mueller report was accepted as a product of DoJ. Even the President claimed it had exonerated him...now, not so much.

Considering their recommendation was shorter then the guidelines would have suggested, i'm not surprised that further reductions would cause consternation.

Holy crap that was funny. I forsee 'The Burning Butt' of a Candidacy article headlines should that ever come to pass.

Yes the case came out of the Mueller probe. Mueller's team is part of the DOJ....

Yes, Mueller's Report, and then later the action, or inaction by the House exonerated the President of any wrong doing as it relates to Mueller

Do you actually believe Stone was a physical threat to anyone Cubed? The man is almost 70 years old, 5'9" and before this witch hunt never had a single crime even alleged his way. That's the requirement for the enhanced sentencing and I have found zero evidence any of the prosecutors presented that justified that enhancement.

For God's sake even the government witness Stone so called threatened said he didn't feel threatened. Does that give you any pause?

Considering my post had nothing to do with the debatable notion of whether or not the charges were applied appropriately, but based on the sentencing guidelines for first offenders, it doesn't really matter.

Also, his physical stature has very little to do when threatening someone. Money, political connections, are things that can be taken into account. If the guy had simply shut the F up, he wouldn't be facing this sentencing guideline.

Now, personally, do I personally think he should get 7-9 years? I would say that on it's face, that no, that's quite a long time for what he did. But neither should he get probation or any sort of sentence suspension. He should absolutely spend time behind bars for what he did.

Except a text between Page and Strozek said "POTUS wants to know everything we're doing."

Probably because it was based on premeditated fraud to the FISA court.

Problem with this is that 1. Trump did not intervene or interfere with a court case. This may come as news to many but tweeting is not intervening. 2. Barr and the DOJ did not "intervene" in the Stone case. They are a direct part of the Stone case.

Which is NOT evidence that he began the investigation. You do understand the difference, don't you?
