Epitome might have been a better choice than "definition". But everyone knows what you meant, including her. And you are correct.
That's fine too, you weren't asking for my advice and I gave it anyhow. I hate it when people do that so I probably shouldn't have. Carry on
I wasn't expecting much out of Nanny State Mike last night, but things went far worse for him than I could have possibly imagined. He got REKT....
If Bloomberg is there, where is Tulsi? How can anyone vote Democrat when these clowns fix elections more than the Russians? Maybe they are the Russians?
Dems are looking at a brokered convention already and I still have this gnawing feeling that we have not seen the last of Hillary!
Wow the dems have ended themselves. It really explains a lot about why they have done all they could to overthrow the elected president
she'll force her way in as vp for the chosen one... then, moments after being sworn in (provided they win in november) the chosen one will mysteriously resign... then we'll all be bombarded with those 'he didn't resign' memes...
It's difficult to know exactly what rules the DNC could change since they voted in 2018 to make things easier for Bernie. At any rate, I'm pretty sure that most states voting laws have it such that pledged delegates will still outweigh unpledged even if super delegates rules are somehow changed again before the elections. For now, it would, or should be difficult for the DNC to parachute Hillary in to save the day. I'm betting her chute won't open even if she tries.
Hey I'll cop to it; I was the first one here to notice Warren had gone full-Vulcan with her eyebrows. And what of it? I mean, am I the only one here making fun of someone's looks? But I suppose you're right; we shouldn't mock someone for their appearance. I know you yourself wouldn't make fun of Trump for being fat or - -oops. Oh well, there goes THAT argument.
Nah, we WANT the chaos in the Dem party to spread nationwide! It'll be entertaining, that's for sure!
Last night showed he either didn't prepare properly or didn't listen to the people coaching him for the debate at all!
The Dem convention in Milwaukee will be a cluster, probably like Chicago in 1968. My father was working in downtown Chicago in 1968. He had to walk around and step over all of the hippies and anti-war protestors on the sidewalk to get to his office. The Dems are wrong on everything, but they’re more interesting than the boring middle class and upper-middle class, tax paying Republicans.
Bloomberg was clearly an on stage disaster. His analysts have said internally that Biden, Buttigieg and Klobuchar have to drop out now if dems are to have any chance. That seems unlikely for now. Bloomberg's people estimate that Bernie will likely take 40% of the delegates. The party appears really fragmented with Bloomberg on the ropes. Still I wouldn't under estimate him or what his next move might be. Super Tuesday should determine if he can buy a nomination.
I ended up watching about 15 minutes of the debate last night. A couple of quick comments 1) the hand raising thing was silly, why not just give them a button with a light 2) the debate would have been much better without Bernie and Liz, they are angry and lecture too much. 2a) I would have watched more than 15 minutes if not for Bernie/Liz. 3) Pete says a lot but doesn't really say anything, he's been practicing that and is getting better. 4) The media seems to indicate that Bloomberg took some hard hits, he seemed to handle himself just fine from my POV, even the morning show this morning went after him and played the same clips I saw live, I think he addressed the issues just fine.
Could it be that Bloomberg was all smoke and mirrors? Mueller was painted as the dems best hope of taking Trump out until he testified before millions. We watched a frail old front man fumble over and over not fooling anyone.
seems like she had a bad team behind her, she could have answered that question much much better. Maybe a response along the lines of that she works with the ambassadors or representatives of mexico and rattle off a list of names that she works with directly, assuming she actually does. I suspect that she expected some softball general questions that she can answer in political speak and not an off the wall question like, who is the president of mexico. But certainly she should have been better prepared, his name (I expect) should have been plastered all over her preparation documents prior to the interview.
