All I could see when Biden was ranting and raving was an old creepy old man yelling at the neighborhood kids to get off his lawn. "Barack Obama and I cut and watered that grass, Barack picked the weeds and I told him how to do it, GET OFF MY LAWN"
Bloomberg is toast. And Bernie can't win the GE. ^That is a given. The only hope the Dems have is a Biden Resurgence or Michelle Obama, Et.al. ^That is also a given. (PS--Also, and this is certainly nothing personal, but what is your (general) opinion on people who make posts at a forum that are critical of Moderators at an unrelated forum)? Once again, nothing personal, just a friendly inquiry (as to your opinion).
Democrat commentators are rather disappointed that the debate turned into a circular firing squad and they didn't pivot every single answer into a unified attack against Trump. Not sure which way would have been worse for them. They're in trouble.
I used Hillary as a possible example of who Bloomberg may be trying to purchase the nomination for. I could have used Michelle Obama or Oprah or someone else. I agree that Hillary would be the wrong choice. If Democrats can't decide on a candidate in the field and do go to a brokered convention, it doesn't matter (much) who the nominee is. Too many voters will stay home.
Check out lefty media today, they seem to be struggling to get any good talking points out of that clown show...
There was no talk of bringing in a puppet at the convention on the GOP side. We accept the will of the people, not subvert it...
I get what you're saying, but I'm not sure a lot of voters in the South do. It'll be interesting to see if Sanders can pick off some of Biden's Black/Obama supporters. Right now it looks like Bernie's race to lose...
No kidding, here a CNN article where Obama's former campaign manager says Sanders will be the nominee: https://www.cnn.com/2020/02/20/politics/bernie-sanders-michael-bloomberg-joe-biden-2020/index.html
The most pathetic/laughable line I've seen comes from National People's Radio: Bloomberg got on stage, but had an uneven performance LOL - Did they watch the same debate I watched last night??? Talk about putting lipstick on a pig...
The GOP wasn't in trouble at this point in 2016...it's was clear they were going to win, just like it is today
She would be great except that she is diametrically opposed to Sander's platform. She is just short of a republican.
Biden is kaput. Notice he got very few questions from the moderators and very few attacks from the other candidates-its because he isn't relevant or a serious contender.
Okay, I went back and looked closely at her platform and you two might be right. She might be a good fit but she has rubbed some wrong in the Democrat party.
She knew she lost it and probably just wanted to get off the stage as fast as possible...I can't say I blame her.
She's something of an enigma. Fox News seems to fawn on her...but I think that's because she rails against the establishment Democrats. I don't think she's been terribly vocal about her socialist ideology on the environment and universal healthcare, but quitting her opportunity to be a DNC-establishment rising star to support the Sanders campaign tells us what we need to know.
So has Bernie. Trump is still misrubbing the gop yet they’re willing to abandon all their old “principles” for him.
Who knows? I can wait for Biden to officially withdraw, before I get caught up giving any credence to the latest RW "Joe Bad" Marching Orders. That said, IF Biden can't get the Nom., THEN the only chance the Dems have is somebody like Michelle Obama at an open convention.
