    The weather would kill me
Freezing cold rain all the time
Wind and rain and grew skies

    Worse than Ireland ??

I guess that’s why Scots tend be sturdy and tough

The weather is fine. It tends to be a bit brisk, but it is a great place to hunker down indoors with a few bevies and some friends. And if you go to somewhere like Edinburgh, which is dedicated to drawing the tourists in and separating them from the money they (the tourists) don't really need, then there is always something going on.

The only thing wrong with Scotland are the man eating midges that have devastated the countryside and who were the real cause of the Highland Clearances.

Lake Meade was the hardest place I've been. Vegas temperatures but with 100% humidity. I couldn't stand to be outside, much less actually do anything.

I don't think rain, cold is the problem. Get a good jacket and you will get used to it, the hardest in that kind of region is the lack of light. Often the sky is covered with thick grey clouds, which can be kind of depressing.

    Oregon or Maine?

I want to see Oregon one day.

Scotland sounds like a stupid place when it comes to politics.
    SNP, stupid as Hell.

They can't afford to join the EU, but they want to leave the UK to join the EU.
They moan about Tory austerity and want an even bigger SNP austerity if they leave the UK.
They have an 8% deficit to the UK yet they annouce public spending like money's going out of fashion.

It seems Scotland's only problem is, they're poor as Hell and can't afford to do the things they want to do and the reality of not being able to afford it doesn't stop them from wanting or doing.
Every sanitary towel 'free' women's hygiene product or safe space for Junkies; is another £ they won't have to afford to leave the UK; Dumb asses.

Scotland is one of those cases where, all their problems would be solved if they had any money; but since they can't afford it; they're not independent from the UK and they're not joining the EU.

    I'm from Croydon, South London.

People say Croydon's like Las Vegas without the casinos or the desert.

That said, if it is hot in the UK, it's more of a dry heat here....

This isn't really anything to do with Croydon being like Las Vegas without the casinos or the desert though.
Our women have the biggest busts in the country. Also, the people - I guess; Well, that's what I've heard, I've never been to Las Vegas, though, yet, but that's how I've heard people describe Las Vegas to me; it's like Croydon if Croydon had casinos and a desert.

I heard that about Eugene, Oregon, but I still wanted to go.

I like the weather in Croydon better than this video I saw of Eugene, Oregon's weather in the winter so I wanted to go in April; UK's not Hawaii, but it's okay I guess.
Croydon's a town in London and, since global warming, has gotten warmer in the summers; UK's like a hot country sometimes, that's a new thing.

    I know, go Ducks! lol
Also, I want to see the athletics side with that running track, birth place of Nike and I also want to run Pre's Trail (aside from a The Simpsons getaway staying in nearby Springfield to go to / see Eugene).
    - and if I can, go Bigfoot hunting, and get some cool Bigfoot slippers for myself - souvenir and whatnot.
I was actually interested in maybe catching a minor league baseball game / Eugene Emeralds too.
I mean, I'm from London, the act of being in America as a tourist is a novel enough experience as it is, throw me in a place like Springfield for a week and I'm on Instagram taking pictures of things we don't see in England; like US high way code and infrastructure/taking some pictures of random stop signs and road markings and buildings and things, in a way cool looking local backdrop of trees and things I just don't see here; there's even trains to take pictures of lmao y'know, and they have athletics, so I'm keen to go, plus they have The Simpsons, that would be cool; to stay in Springfield for a week, fly in and out of Eugene (direct or connect); I think that would be cool, hence I want to do it.
I reacon, if I stayed more than I week, IDK, I'd like to make Oregon half my trip and head out to Wisconsin for a guitar fix of mine before jetting back to the UK/home two weeks later so like a week in Oregon and 5 days in Wisconsin with 2 nights traveling.

A wee bit of single malt softens life considerably. ;)

It need not even be a single malt.
I quite like a blend as well.
    Or a Snakebite.
