    FUNDING A REELECTION CAMPAIGN

From CNBC here: America has spent $6.4 trillion on wars in the Middle East and Asia since 2001, a new study says - excerpt:
What does it take for a country of supposedly "smart people" to understand that the mountainous amount of Defense Spending could be better employed elsewhere? Like funding very-low-cost Post-secondary Education that assures graduates better incomes at higher pay-scales! (Like Hillary had promised during her campaign!)

    Donald Dork's Discretionary Budget infographic:

Had even a small portion of that immense amount (of Defense Spending) gone to financing (free, gratis and for nothing) for our kids a Post-secondary Education, then in terms of future-jobs and lifestyle they'd benefit far, far more ... !

PS: Why did Donald Dork reduce upper-income taxation? The American rich aren't rich enough? No, not that. He's expecting that a considerable amount of their in-the-pocket tax-savings comes into his reelection campaign!

NP isn't a real source of objective numbers; it's a Democratic Party subsidiary. It makes money from government grants to 'study issues' and come up with 'solutions' favorable to Democratic Party propaganda and pork barrel legislation. They have no objective opinions; if they did they wouldn't be funded. Just having a few token ''libertarians' around doesn't make it 'bipartisan'. It also isn't for cutting government spending, they just want more of the pork to go into their own pet projects and pockets, so no need for non-partisans to waste their time caring what these crypto-commies think.

Gotta love those selective use of charts, to try and make things seem very different than what they are.

Now I invite anybody who actually has a brain and can think to look closely at that chart. Where it clearly states "Discretionary Spending". You see, that is the areas of the budget that the Government can actually decide to increase or decrease spending on. And yea, the DoD seems huge, it is of course the biggest part of that part of the budget.

But nowhere in that is the Mandatory Spending pie. Where Social Security and Unemployment are almost 2 times what the DoD spends. And Medicare and Health is more than what the DoD spends.

Of course, also ignore the fact that over 75% of the DoD budget goes to things like payroll and medical expenses of dependents of those in uniform.

You see, this is why I tell people to not believe what they are told, and to take the time to research things for themselves. Apply cognitive thinking, and refuse to simply believe things that are spoon fed to them by people who are lying by omission.

what's so great about giving everyone a free college education? Too many people attend college now.

Hell, the same with free health care.

I tell people over and over, if you want a classic example of how bad it could be, look no further than the VA. I recently had to drop out of training because the VA was not paying me the living stipend. I was 2 months into the school, and had to drop for lack of funds. Only then did they finally send me a check, then almost immediately took it all back stating I was overpaid.

And we already have multiple programs. A person can attend a community college, and between grants and loans can graduate with very little debt. And besides, what would we do with all of those graduates? Our labor force is already saturated with millions of people that have worthless degrees, that have had to take minimal income type jobs because there is no demand in their field.

Hell, even computer fields like mine are oversaturated. That is why I was trying to return to school, my field in the last 5 years has crashed. So many graduated and have moved into computer tech fields that incomes have actually dropped.

Now, if say there was a program out there for almost free vocational schools, I would be all for that. We need a lot more HVAC and electrical technicians than we do people with degrees in Women's Studies and Minority Empowerment.

My three sisters and I all went to college and earned Bachelor's degrees (in three years each) But all of us had academic scholarships. Mine was basically a full ride (except for books). Obviously to me at least people that can earn academic or other scholarships should go to college as they are being rewarded for both past performance and potential future performance. But this treating college as the equivalent of four more years of high school is utterly ridiculous. Especially considering one of the biggest things most colleges offer now are high school level remedial classes so students can make up for what they didn't learn (but should have) in high school.

Do you want to be taken seriously when calling the president a "dork"?

Are you home schooled now that your public school shut down?

And here is the amazing thing. The moment people start saying things like that, I immediately throw them into the "idiot" pile, and do not take them seriously. And it really does not matter who the President is. I rejected the birther nuts and those with ODS just as seriously as I reject the TDS nuts.

And I actually find it rather funny when people scream therefore I am a "Trump Lover". And it makes me laugh just as hard as when a few years ago people called me an "Obama Lover". And the irrationality of both those camps reminds me of why I largely hate (political) civilians. And no, that does not mean politicians. That means those that have this irrational need to inject their politics into anything and try to spread their irrationality among others.

And the fact this was a "hit and run" posting just reaffirms that opinion.
