Meat is more dangerous than veggies?

So many veggies can't possibly be washed to any reasonable degree, are often maintained in stores in open and damp condition, and are often eaten with little or no cooking.

... just asking! I hadn't heard this angle.

No. Only a few time in history as there been such a perfect storm brewing if we don't take care. Our health services are already operating at peek capacity normally. What you see now is society trying to catch up to the potentiality of the disease.

I do not understand what you are implying here.

Are you suggesting that we should just accept overflowing our hospitals with pepole who need ventilators that we don't have?

Are you just pointing out that COVID sperads exponentially, like other communicable disease?

    Or, what?

Bull! There is ZERO evidence of that. And, it's ridiculous to start with.

Maybe it is the best place to start cleaning. Meat is greasy and blood and tissue seems to breed microbes. Whereas cleaning the produce area would be bleach, water, and towels.

    ???
If only Trump hadn't blown 2 months while letting Fox and Rusbo explain to our nation that COVID is a Democratic plot.

During that time, SKorea tested 210,000 citizens. And, we tested zero.

During that time, SKorea implemented social distancing and Trump did not - even though it's our only approach to flattening the growth curve.

During that time Trump let Fox programming (like Hannity, Reagan and others), Rushbo, Breitbart and others continue to broadcast that COVID was fake news - and even that it was a Democratic plot.

And, Trump's border action was slip shod and based on trade or other unknown justifications. Blocking travel to Europe but not UK - when UK was doing worse than many European countries??? Pitching blocking travel as a big positive when it was already here in strength, thus making little real difference according to experts?

Then, you come along and try to suggest SKorea did WORSE?

You got all that from my one line reply? You seem desperate for an argument.

I was referring to the idea of it mutating and coming back worse, but you go on with your debate with whatever it was.

I suppose that's possible. I've got no clues on this. I've been somewhat staying away from meat in favor of veggies!!

The major chain stores I go to totally bleach down meat areas every night, whereas I rarely if ever see them clean the produce areas, including veggies that get sprinkled periodically, thus keeping the whole area wet.

From my microbiology and meat care training, no, it is not an issue so as long as the meat is packaged under sanitary conditions and cooked properly.

US citizens can still do a direct return flight to China via LAX - one plane from Beijing landed yesterday. They are requested to do self containment when they return, which means they can still go out for "essentials" (cough). If only Trump did what China do - forced containment of all travellers entering China for 14 days

The First known person was around February 8th. Where are you getting this two month thing from? If you want to go back to January, remember that we were engaged in Impeachment. So yeah, you might be regretting that political stunt for more than just orange man bad. It might've cost lives.

If the criminal IMPOTUS cannot walk and chew gum at the same time he is UNFIT for office.

Maybe if wasted LESS time on the golf course he could have been ahead of the curve on this.

Conflating Impeachment with Covid-19 as an "excuse" for his FAILURE to do his job is a non-starter.

Complete and utter BS. You don’t like our Fda call your congressman but the fact is the s Korea test had a 30% failure rate and the fda couldn’t approve it. Because of trump we allow business to get quick fda producer approval and millions of test are flowing now.

can you imagine if 15% of the country got false negatives or positives. You would be trumpeting incompetence. Stop with the blame game Bs and if you must blame on the source, China!

Not much inspires vigalence more than fear .

    That was my point .

Your attitude might not be responsible.

A link would be nice for the failure rate.
But while your not finding that:
Have you noticed they bent the curve anyway?
