If Trump wants to refer to covid-19, AKA cofefe-19, as the Chinese Virus then he needs to refer to the swine flu, AKA H1N1, from here on as the American virus. His fan base should as well.

Trump is also not concerned if Americans with Corona leave the US.
Trump hasn't put in a lock down, while the virus is spreading around as we speak.

Seriously. It's amazing you're ripping on China, while Trump does less.

China? Our model to follow? Oh. No, no, no. Shine that light, because on this you are right.

How It All Started: China’s Early Coronavirus Missteps
China’s errors, dating back to the very first patients, were compounded by political leaders who dragged their feet to inform the public of the risks and to take decisive control measures

Why can't I go with the name "The newspaper of record" gave it?
Is the NYT not a credible media outlet?

This is the second indication of Bide/China Collusion. The first was in the deals made by Hunter.

The 2009 H1N1 outbreak actually started in Mexico, and it was called "the North American swine flu", at the time, and it wasn't named after a specific location, because it was never pinned down to a specific starting city, and it spread to the USA very rapidly.

It also wasn't pinned as specifically as the Wuhan coronavirus, because it's wasn't a novel (new) strain, but rather a Frankenstein's mutt mix of previous H1N1 variants.
All that said, if you wanted to call the 2009 H1N1 outbreak "The American virus", do you think anybody would really give a crap?

You listen to too many apologists and theorists.
    April 15
    • First human infection with new influenza A H1N1 virus detected in California.
So go right ahead and call it the US virus from now on and see what response you get.

    Okay then.

    US virus.

    Nope, nobody gives a crap.

Maybe if I call it "the California flu" somebody will care?

I think you will find most racists have very thick skin and don't mind being called racists at all. It's the liberals who are terrified of being considered racist and it is so easy to be called racist these days: all you have to do is point out that a virus originated in a particular location.

How is designating a virus from its point of origin racist? Calling a Nissan a Japanese car is not racist. How is calling the corona virus the Wuhan virus racist?

I do wonder if it is racist to have rendered the word "racist" meaningless

Both of those jokes were told to me by Chinese people. They are proud of their wide ranging cuisine.

Go ahead, give it a try in some other thread and see how long it takes your fellow Trumpettes to object.
Just call it the covid-19 and be done with it. There is no reason under the sun to continue calling it the china virus, that's at best silly.

I am rather partial to "WhuFlu" and "KungFlu", and there is still a deadly virus called the "HongKong Flu" . AND we could start on the specious "Swine Flu" , "Bird Flu", and "MadCow disease"

President Trump started calling it the "China Virus" because the ChiComs claimed they got it from US Servicemen. Pres Trump punches back, that why we elected him, and will elect him again, and then elect a similar fighter (TedCruz!) in 2024.

A very good reason the continue calling it the China virus would be to hold the Chinese accountable for their atrocious actions in relation to this pandemic.

Please explain why you'd disagree with holding the Chinese accountable for their despicable handling of this pandemic.
