Social credit score, authoritarianism, communism, reeducation camps, one child policy, Tibet, Taiwan, Hong Kong, intellectual property theft, theft of military secrets, birth tourism, currency manipulation... and yet ANOTHER global pandemic.

China is the biggest threat to the U.S., perhaps the world.

I hope we're seeing the beginning of the end. The end of China being a world power of any sort. We should start by doing everything we can to bring back ANY sort of manufacturing. Bring it back, strategically distribute these industries between ourselves and our neighbors south of the border. Screw them each and every way we can with trade.

There are two existential threats to the U.S..........China is number 1 and Mexico is number 2....

........aside from Democrats of course. I can't stand any of the three.

The only existential threat to the US comes from the racist right:

Xenophobia is epidemic. Why can't China just enslave Africans and exterminate native populations like good empires have done!

No excuses for China, though. All empires are evil.

Hating on China is racist, because Chinese is a race now. CNN told me so.

A bunch of basement-dwelling 4Chin and Ribbet knuckleheads trolling the cops on the interwebz out of quarantine boredom is not just an existential threat to the US, it's the ONLY threat to the US.

Wake me up if one of these hysterical-leftist fantasies actually becomes reality.

So what you are saying is that everything Trump touches turns into California's sidewalks. He should make you feel at home.

Interestingly, I found his last report (Sunday) to the public to be very informative. Sorry you had difficulty following his presentation. Apparently most of the voting public disagree,
    Mar. 20, 2020
An ABC News/Ipsos poll released Friday shows Trump with a 55 percent approval, reported ABC News:

“A new ABC News/Ipsos poll out Friday morning found 55% approval of Trump’s handling of the novel coronavirus crisis, with 43% disapproval. Exactly a week ago, the same poll found a 43-54 approval-disapproval — a near-mirror-image reversal.”

The Harris Poll released Thursday shows a 53 percent approval for Trump’s handling the virus, an increase from 49 percent from last week’s Harris poll.

A Survey USA poll released Thursday has Trump with 51 percent approval for his handling of the virus.

Lol...He managed to avoid going into a self serving rant for a couple of days, then he reverted to form and resumed his puerile attacks on whoever didn’t suck at his teat.
He has exhibited a complete inability to act as a national leader.
Governor Cuomo puts him to shame by comparison.

Lol... I guess that right wingers are stocking up on guns and ammo to fight a virus, eh? Who is so paranoid and self absorbed as to run out to buy weapons in a pandemic?
Your boy trump encourages such behavior with his lying demagoguery.

The Venezuelans chose to cheerfully hand in their guns when their government promised them a safe and prosperous socialist paradise.

It was a decision they've come to sorely regret.

Being in the firearms industry I can tell you who the new crop of gun owners appears to be, young millennials and women. The hard core conservatives have all the guns and ammo they feel they want or need. Our classes were full of women of all ages and races. Good for them for understanding they need to take responsibility for themselves. The old adage still applies, "When seconds count, the police as they are only minutes away". Sell that to a woman having her front door kicked in by her ex.

So let me see if I get this; You want to blame China for the Coronavirus because of? What? That they did not tell us earlier?

Well, maybe had the Trump administration not eliminated the CDC post we had in China back in the summer of last year, we may have known far more than we do now, but ok....carry on with your programmed screed.

Are you telling us that no other country in the world has a version of our CDC stationed in China?
Are you suggesting China would have walked over to a CDC representative from the US and tell them of the virus release three months before they gifted it to the rest of the world or might they just have shut up in an effort to contain the virus before telling the rest of the world they could not stop it from spreading?

And YES to your question do I blame China for not telling about the danger of the Wuhan virus much earlier. I am sure the majority of the rest of the world would agree with me.

They're a distinct ethnicity for the most part since the vast majority are Han chinese. Racism includes discrimination on the basis of ethnicity too. Even though there's only one human race, the racist among us are the one elevating ethnicity to the status of race by using it to discriminate. So yes you can be racist against Han chinese, just like you can be racist against jews or african-american.

"Racism is the belief that groups of humans possess different behavioral traits corresponding to physical appearance and can be divided based on the superiority of one race over another.[1][2][3][4] It may also mean prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against other people because they are of a different race or ethnicity.[2][3] Modern variants of racism are often based in social perceptions of biological differences between peoples. These views can take the form of social actions, practices or beliefs, or political systems in which different races are ranked as inherently superior or inferior to each other, based on presumed shared inheritable traits, abilities, or qualities."

I don't know. Maybe they do, maybe they don't.

Yes. She was embedded with their top epidemiologists, working side by side with them.

Why are you not concerned why the US pulled her out?

Now you guys want to start another cold war with China? Hello!?

EVERYTHING is made in China! Whether you like it or not, we will still need them to keep our endless supply of cheap and affordable goods, including the very equipment we need to treat people infected with Coronavirus. So blaming China only benefits Trump and his reelection, not one iota towards anything else.

He now wants taxpayers to bail out his hotels and golf courses and is crying about how no one gave him credit for donating his presidential salary. This is absolutely untrue as each time he donated it was widely acknowledged by the media.

Effectively, China is close to be a complete dystopia, and you're absolutly right on that. However, I think it's impressive how much they managed to develop their country since the 70's.
Chinese culture is tough, they have been an extremly developped country, if not the most for millenias, I doubt they will fall easily.

I think their top epidemiologists are all mysteriously dead. As for other countries working in China, I suspect you like finger pointing.
As for paying more for goods made in a variety of OTHER countries, I am in 100%. I go out of my way to try and resource products made in the USA and look forward to seeing a yuge increase in options. Just took delivery on a Hogue knife made 100% in the USA.
A far as helping to get Trump re-elected? He needs no help, the democrats are doing a great job of that all by themselves.
