Here below is the link to download the above official document in French/English for those living in France or a French territory and wishing to exit your place of residence for any of the reasons mentioned (and be sure to get the date correct):

    https://mobile.interieur.gouv.fr/Ac...-et-justificatif-de-deplacement-professionnel

Copy the above text-address and enter it upon your browser. Note that the above is a "gif" document, which means you print it out and fill in the information required (noted in English on the document) by hand, and employ it if ever asked by police whilst going to or from an appointment with a doctor.

Similarly, unless you have a VERY GOOD REASON, like necessity to see a doctor, you must obey the rule to not exit your premises from midnight to 0800 (8 AM).

Upon leaving your premises, be sure to have your Attestation de Déplacement document with you (and filled out with your justification selected). You could be asked by police to show it at any time (day or evening). Even if all you are doing is shopping - which is a justifiable reason to leave your house/apartment. The restaurants and most other stores will be closed since all "gatherings" must be avoided to minimise the risk of contagion.

If you do not have an Attestation duly filled out to show the police, the fine paid immediately is 135€ (with a receipt). Yes, put the right "date" on the Attestation every time you leave your premises. The link for this Attestation-document (in both French and English) is here. (Seek down at the bottom to find the links in different formats for accessing/downloading.)

Like if you're homeless? There's a lot of homelessness in Paris.

Or do they have to stay inside their tiny little Quechua tent by the Seine?

Well, they have to give illegal 'refugees' housing first, before they give it to their own citizens, same as Britain does. The demand for cheap dishwashers and cooks is enormous in France. And just like here, they are given entire sections of cities to take over so they don't have to assimilate.

As long as they're kept out of the wealth neighborhoods, that's all that matters, same as here. Then they're invisible and people can make up whatever stories they want to about them.

    BS. I live in France.

The "refugees" are housed in areas where there is accomodation but far from the major centers. What happens is that after one month they understand that there are no-jobs for them and there will never be. So, they leave and go into the cities looking for work. Given that the French police currently are watching closely their own people, I cannot imagine how they are surviving in France without an income. Besides, the country has come to an economic standstill.

Which they cannot find anywhere in France since they don't have the necessary qualifications. Their French is rudimentary. (Anyone hiring them illegally will need to pay a stiff-fine if caught.)

Every so often the French government organizes a one-way flight back to a number of French countries, and many take it ...
