You replied to my post, Steve... and then I replied to yours. Please keep the chronology straight.... And I responded with more than "that chart"... I explained what the chart clearly shows!

In my Post #221, I pointed out that Democrats want to add $200/month to the Social Security cost-of-living increase immediately. Do you doubt that 70,000,000 Baby Boomers, who make up approximately 21.2% of the total U. S. population won't find that to be a good thing? In juxtaposition with the Republican offering, NO such increase in SS is mentioned at all. I provided that chart to show that SS has gone three of the last ten years without any cost-of-living increase at all, and the increases that were provided were almost invisible.

I've also pointed out in this thread that Democrats propose that any bailout for Korporate Amerika must forbid using any of this bailout money to buy back corporate stock, or the stock of any other company, either. Do you imagine that most Americans wouldn't approve of the addition of a requirement like that?

You asked what about the Democrat offering would make a "better deal"... I offer you those two things, in addition now to the fact that Democrats have "upped the ante" on the handout-welfare money over what Republicans came out with. Republicans offered $1,200 per adult... Democrats offer $1,500 per adult. It's a 'bidding war' for votes next November... don't you see that...? And, yeah, if the government's going to shovel out money, most Americans would tell you that they want MORE of it, and not LESS....

If you disagree, I suggest you start a poll question about this matter right here in the Forum, and I think you'll see that what I've suggested is true.

 

Or do what we do with any serious hostage situation and send in Seal team 6! And if you do not see this as serious, then you are either trolling or just oblivious to reality!

now Nancy P and her party are literally withholding relief aid to Americans for the virus they said the President was overeating to.
