We've got one... the boys have quite a nice gym in the outdoor area... but I usually have a run this time of day then walk the dog, tis my routine and they are messing with it.

Do you see the hypocrisy in your reply? Smh. There have been complex issues for our governments to Navigate through in the past 15 years but stopping international flights immediately was far from being one of them. Closing down schools is another. You don’t need a PHD in health to make those judgements. Morrison has proven he is in over his head and now needs to step aside and allow someone with half a brain and a little bit of nous to lead us through this time.

I disagree with you, he's doing a fantastic job, why the hell would you ask him to step down!!! that's outrageous. Familiarise yourself with what decisions are based on..how the stages work and the basis for these decisions. Every decision is made on the advice from health experts, every 24 hours... discussed in the National cabinet. Scott Morrison is not acting on his own.... making that assumption is absurd. This is how things should be done... planned and organised not shooting from the hip like you want it done.

Australia closed its borders to China before everyone else, Australia acted and declared this a pandemic even before the WHO, I don't believe you have all the information.

I mean I disagree with you. you can criticise all you like... I think what we are seeing in this thread is the male version of panic and hysteria.

Wow SW, Morrison is the head of the show, he won’t be showing any weakness in decision making because the buck stops with him. If his advisers are making strange decisions then you know you got to reach out further. His advisers were making business calls on this issue not life saving ones.

Australia was one of the last countries to consider closing its international borders in line with that other fool across the pacific who didn’t take threat seriously. Morrison needed to make a call for the Australian people not just follow the USA like a little puppy dog.

From the Melbourne Age this morning.
“Last month, thousands of Russian-linked social media accounts were discovered spreading posts deliberately calibrated to trigger maximum alarm and anger about coronavirus.

US authorities believe a foreign disinformation campaign is under way to sow fear and discord among Americans. It included rumours the Trump administration was planning to announce a full nationwide shutdown. Sound familiar? It's the same message that went viral through Australian social media last week about the Morrison government. It forced Health Minister Greg Hunt to publicly announce there was no such action planned.

And this is the problem. In the middle of a once-in-a-lifetime pandemic our national resources are being redirected to fight malicious disinformation spread, primarily, via Facebook and one of its subsidiaries, messaging app WhatsApp.”

    I have listened to almost all the PM's press conferences, and I had no problem understand exactly what he was saying. If there are confusion about the message then;
    a) it's partially Russian disinformation (as Sally's pointed out)
    b) people should stop smoking so much weed... it will help with comprehension
    c) the media need to focus more on informing the public and less on trying to smear the government as currently it is the other way around
    d) some people have trouble dealing with change... these people will experience more confusion than someone who accept change more readily. The fallout of all this is still to come, the stock markets was merely an appetiser.

    This comment
makes it obvious to me that your criticism is not focussed on the issue but stems from personal issues, your dislike of Scott Morrison.

I will tell you bluntly and as honestly as I possibly can, that I don't see what you see, I'm looking through a lens of "what can I do to help" instead of "I know better" or "I hate him he must be doing this wrong".

This is essentially the reason why we disagree.

    Whattttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt ??????????????
2700 disembarked in Sydney, what a clown show we have.
A proper leader would make the rules all states have to follow, at least in that emergency situation.
And you think its male panic? Or do you just don't like me?

Morrison is in a no win situation, you want him to micromanage...but if he did you'd criticise him for doing so.

Besides expecting him to do the Premiers jobs for them is ridiculous...

Who said anything about micro managing smh?! It’s about his monstrous team of intel and public officials keeping their finger on the pulse of all things that include something as significant as a ship full of 4000 people docking back on our shores. In a time like this it doesn’t matter what state those ships are docking in, it is about national interest at this time. Honestly how did Berejiklian government not receive information about this? Surely someone was in their ear.

This is a national border/biosecurity issue of epic proportions. Both are as irresponsible as those people making a day of it at Bondi Beach in the middle of a pandemic. This wasn’t an issue of a group of swingers having a rendezvous on the shipping dock this was a cruise ship with close to 4K people on board!

    Shane Warne!

Ok first of all he's blonde
secondly he's an empty headed celebrity
Thirdly he's probably one of those I referred to when I said they should stop smoking so much weed it will improve their comprehension
And fourth he probably texted 5 different women while making these comments.

And clearly your only goal here is to find something to blame on the PM.

We're going to look back at the Covid-19 event, and people will ask. What did Labor do to help during Australia's darkest days?

The answer will be, they blamed the government, and that is all they did.

Just stop SW, it is about the actions of a government who we want to hold accountable. This strawman regarding the intention to just pin something on Morrison is frivolous and infantile.

This doesn’t mean anything substantial due to demographics etc but what can we read of this?

NSW 133 per mil - liberal party

VIC 72 per mil - labor party

QLD 88 per mil - labor party

SA 123 per mil - liberal party

WA 82 per mil - labor party

I think human nature is that in a crisis we tend to look for someone to blame...Morrison is the leader of this country...he is the captain of the ship so
to speak...I feel that coalition voters will support him to the hilt, and lean towards
blaming the state labor leaders for covid 19 "issues" within than state.
Labor voters will blame Morrison for everything that goes wrong, whilst exonerating their state leader if he/she is labor...
Personally, I detest all of them, and will continue to criticize all of them.
I have no allegiance to any of them....I will criticize them all..
Why...because at my age I enjoy venting my spleen.....its entertaining...

    Hi,
it just sounds like you fancy Warne. He has a bit of a soft spot for the ladies, hasn't he?
But anyway, when even an empty headed Warne realizes the contradictions of our PM, clearly you should as well.
Billy is right, we tend to look more for the mistakes the ones we don't like are doing.

You certainly don’t have an allegiance to any party, which is very clear from years of locking horns with ya. At a time like this you need forums to vent and I say let it all hang out! : ) Let’s keep the bastard honest!...no I’m not an old democrat either I just like the saying! Lol
