Anecdotal, but is it really that contagious?

Could have been seasonal flu of one variety or another. I think the surge of COVID-19 here came when Chinese students came back to the US to school in January. When Trump banned flights to and from China on January 31, they flew to Vancouver and drove south ,,, until Trump beat on Trudeau to only allow Canadian citizens to cross into the US.

It has been reported that those with blood group A or B (not AB) are more susceptible

Likely you think what they want you to think, bat soup and all that.

The developing facts do not support that version.

The article in its entirety basically contradicts the story that it started in bat soup. I wonder if you read the article.

For virologists, close examination of the virus reveals certain traits and qualities, something like fingerprints. The more they learn, the more obvious it becomes that it did not actually start in China.

The bat soup story is a convenient tool to get the uninformed masses thinking that it started in China when it actually started elsewhere, likely the US.

Yes I know. But there are also the examples of perfectly healthy looking NBA players with a positive test but no symptoms.

For me that raises the matter of false positives, and if you put that into Google you find that many medical tests come back with false positives and false negatives. I don't know which is greater, but I have received 2 false positives years ago.

For some reason the public dialogue does not seem to spend much time on that subject.

Three weeks late to the dance, the US is still dealing with no data, possibly false data, and very incomplete data. Without data it's hard to make rational decisions.

I had an annoying cough and some sniffles for a few days, a couple weeks ago. Could have been a simple cold. Could have been Covid. Who knows.

All 6 of the people I know who "might" have had it in January describe more severe symptoms than you. They could not leave the house because of their symptoms. Difficulty breathing, shortness of breath with headache are symptoms they described.

Age and general health? Some people are revealing they had it with few rough symptoms. Could be all BS.

The people I know are all 50's and 60's, most with good health otherwise, one man not so much.

I think it's becoming apparent that many people have/had it, nobody was tested because there were no tests, and most survive.

No it doesn't it's a hypothetical and very little supporting facts. The entire World and WHO all agree where the first case was and how fast it was spread in the Wuhan community. Tin hat theories are just that.

You mean like the entire world agreed on WMD? Or that the earth was the center of the universe? Like that?

I do not know the answer, but I do know that MSM is notorious for reporting false stories during their propaganda hour. It seems the harder they push any given narrative, the more false it turns out to be. The 911 narrative is a good example. It's a false narrative, but the media repeat it ever September.

Sounds like what Goebbels used to say.
