    You're possibly right, but that doesn't account for less deaths in all those areas also.

    What are you talking about? The WHO declared it a pandemic 3/11, Trump called it a pandemic 3/17, that isn't a month.

    The warning sirens were going off here among experts. Trump trivialized it, dismissed it, created another hoax conspiracy theory, compared it to the flu or a cold, told everyone time and time again what a great job he was doing, how he stopped it in China, and said it would magically disappear. He said the cases were at 15 and would soon be zero.

    Well, they weren't zero. And nobody but trump and his legions believed that it wold be for a second.

    The are constantly reporting that the social distancing seems to be having an impact. Keep it up! Keep it up!!! This is the constant message.

    You have to turn on the news to watch it.

    We don't care what Fox or Limbaugh say they are reporting. What matters is what they are actually reporting. Turn it on and watch for yourself. It will be a revelation!

    And the WHO was saying as late as 1/14 that it wasn't communicable, according to their Chinese masters. Trump never called the virus a hoax. It will disappear someday, just like the 1918 epidemic did in a far more medically primitive time. Drop the politics, will you?

    So if trump wasn't an idiot, he would have known on Jan 20th that this was a potential threat in the US.

    He knew long before the travel ban that we already had it here. So how stupid do you have to be to assume it was contained? Nobody did but trump and his legion of true believers.

    Yes, we take those.

    Unfortunately, pretty much every State in the Union saw their nu.ber of confirmed increase yesterday. So seeing the daily increase be smaller than the previous day in one State is pretty insignificant.

    Badly worded on my part, mea culpa!

    State governors have zero authority over FEDERAL Customs and Immigration facilities at airports within their states.

    IOW's they cannot STOP anyone from entering their state from another nation via those airports if they are allowed entry by ICE.
