There is no one size fits all, that's why I posted alternatives. I forgot mobile hotspots.

Upping the postage to $1.50 for first class mail would help the problem.

I would say it's fairly common, what you describe. I have noticed such structures for years here and there, knew what they were, and thought it was a great idea, but didn't know the details.

Exactly; how will we receive things such as jury duty notices and other legal documents? What kind of accountability would private carriers be held to? What if they tamper with the mail? Or if a labor dispute occurs and the mail is delayed for weeks at a time? remember, some of the carriers are unionized and the no-strike clause does not apply to them. It's not that easy to replace the postal service as much as some people would like to.

The FTC has a complaint site !!!!

Well not sure what business you are in, but you may want to rethink mixing personal email with business. Maybe the "Subject" can be used........, and filter off of that.

filtering is easy as pie. I also get a spam summary that I browse through in about 15 seconds. if I need a russian bride. a longer stronger erection or wish to collect my $50 prize that is awaiting, I know where to check.

and for me I have 5 emails, two for business, 2 personal and one for junk. phone manages them perfect.

my original work email i have to occasionally block senders or domains, my gmail on #2 does a better job of filtering spam.

if I have a primary complaint its junk phone calls, they are terrible.

And why did they loose money ?

Wait, I’ll answer that for you. They had to put $5 BILLION in the pension fund this year alone.....so without that being forced on them, they actually made $4.5 BILLION....

Now show me how much Fed-EX and UPS made if they had the same legal liability corneas put on the USPS ?

    I wont hold my breath....

Looks like eliminating the Postal Workers union would help.

The USPS makes profits, profits are use to expand and update equipment. It doesn't sell stock and pay dividends out or profits.

The Postal Service is operating at a profit
" While it’s true that letter mail has declined, technology has led to a rise in package delivery stemming from e-commerce — and the overall result has been sufficient to produce operating profits in three of the past four years, averaging nearly $1 billion annually."

You keep ignoring why they are in the position they are in because it fits your political agenda. But you cant escape facts, no matter how long you stick your head in the sand.

So think about this for awhile: You actually pay MORE to sending letters and packages because republicans didn’t like the USPS.

I'm sure the last buggy whip maker made the best buggy whips ever. They like the postal service are just no longer needed.

yes, junk cell phone calls are the worst, though google phone app now does a much better job of filtering them

we need the government to mandate all phone companies only allow calls from people that properly identify themselves, no spoofed ANI's
