Fake Don can multitask like a one-octopus band!

Whilst lying about a nation-ravaging pandemic, he can still indulge his petty vindictiveness and sack another dedicated public servant:

In an unusual rebuke of a president, the Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency said in a statement: "Inspector General Atkinson is known throughout the Inspector General community for his integrity, professionalism, and commitment to the rule of law and independent oversight. That includes his actions in handling the Ukraine whistleblower complaint, which the then Acting Director of National Intelligence stated in congressional testimony was done 'by the book' and consistent with the law."
The thin-skinned narcissist manages to lead the nation into its vaulted status as epicenter of the global pandemic whilst still indulging in his revenge upon anyone who places respect for the law above shameless bum kissing.

Anyone who had concluded Trump can't fart and chew gum at the same time should be in awe.

That is because it wasn't whistle blowing it was an orchestrated, baseless intrigue. This is how the Dems roll, create a wild accusation, prop it up with planted witnesses and get the media involved. This is the formula they've used in every single attempt to overthrow the president and to attack court nominations and the like. It couldn't be more obvious yet the willfully ignorant Dem base become like an army of drooling Adam Schiff clones at even just a hint of impropriety. Before his next term, president Trump needs to clean house and fire the rest of the Obama leftover clowns in the White House. They all ought to be in jail.

The IG is in the Executive Branch. He works FOR the President. He is NOT oversight over the President. He reports fraud and corruption TO the President. But, most importantly, the IG is now UNEMPLOYED, as he should be. He showed complete disregard for the law and the President needs people who are honest to help him oversee the Executive Branch.

He didn't pick him. He was in that position when Trump got there. In fact most of them were. This I suspect changes in the future. Moving forward I suspect from this point forward everything but the kitchen staff and the secret service changes when the president does.

The IG was a Trump appointee. :) Passed with a voice vote in the Senate.

    Edit:
    @garyd

Atkinson became Inspector General of the Intelligence Community (ICIG) in May 2018. He was nominated to the position in November 2017 by President Donald Trump and was confirmed by the United States Senate by voice vote on May 14, 2018.

True, except of course when that "wrong doing" is made up. Then you're expected to fire the compliance officer.

You brought up the issue of trust. I'm just curious as to what actions you think made Trump mistrust him.

Actually Trump brought it up. He's the one that said he couldn't trust him anymore. Beyond that I don't know. Again, not a mind reader. Perhaps if Schiff released his testimony we might know more.

Ah. My bad. Even so, Trump is accused of trying to play nice with the other side and hiring people he should know aren't on his side, such as John Bolton. Looks like he did it again.

Yeah. Like the one that started that impeachment hoax that took the US's attention for how many wasted months? The Left is on the wrong side of this thing. While Trump was warning us about China, the Left was calling him a racist and insisting we go out and hug them and keep open borders. Be so nice if they cared about the health of the nation rather than ideology. So obviously not the case.

Trump appointee or not he was still part of a criminal scheme to unseat the president. Trump's action on this matter is totally appropriate no matter how much you try to make it into something it's not. Atkinson will be lucky if he gets away with just being fired.

Sorry it's not just Trump it's all president you have a crap load of positions to fill and damn little time to do it in. You get a bunch of resumes delivered to you by some one else and there is seldom much to make one stand out from the others so you pick one and move on. Only later do you have a chance to discover whether or not you made a good choice. It's you basic crap shoot some times you get seven sometimes you crap out.

That right there is the problem.............he is not running a company. The Unites States is not a company in any shape way or form.

This GOP beloved and long awaited dream of having a business magnate be the POTUS has turned into an utter and complete failure! This experiment is over!

The fact that you mention "deep state" twice in your post proves you have bought into that utterly ridiculous BS from right wing media.

That you don't see the constant prosecution of the non-anointed is part of the problem. The whole Russia-gate hoax was launched by a liar. No prosecution for him. See @3:45
