Have you ever heard of separation of church and state? That's what our country was founded on. Our government has no right to impose restrictions on any citizen based on religious beliefs. I have a news flash, not everyone in this country is Christian. And by the way there are laws that give citizens rights, abortion is one right granted to all women under Roe vs. Wade. I follow the laws of this country as everyone should. "Separation of church and state" is paraphrased from Thomas Jefferson and used by others in expressing an understanding of the intent and function of the Establishment Clause and Free Exercise Clause of the First Amendment to the United States Constitution which reads: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..."

Freedom of religion is guaranteed in our Constitution, it is not an 'ideology' it is a law. Separation of church and state is also not an 'ideology' it is part and parcel of the guaranteed rights under the US Constitution contained within the First Amendment.,

The 14th amendment incorporated the first amendment to the states, so it doesn’t need to be in state constitutions. The states are already bound by the first.
