This virus has a 2% fatality rate so even if the drug does no better than nothing 98% of the people who take the drug would survive. You can eat a pangolin and a bat with hydroxychloroquine and you'll likely survive. So give the drug to people. Give them hope. 98% recovery is amazing.

So if you are put in the position where you ask your doctor are you going to argue with him because, you know, Trump says..........because people will. This isn't leadership, it's insanity.

I heard a Doctor on Fox news. He said the stuff has minimal effect if any at all. It is a false hope. He was talking about some kind of immunotherapy.

When did a Dr ordered treatment become a red and blue issue. Some have had great success with this and some not much change, would it matter if it was you? Hell yea give it to me if my Dr says it's ok because If I'm struggling I want anything possible that may solve this devil. To make it a partisan issue is beyond dumb and done by partisan hacks.

 

I saw that as well my question would have been based on what and how would we know if they healed? Look some have had great immediate success would they have gotten better immediately? I would take it in a heart beat and I beat you would too.

Some people appear to get in trouble because their immune system overreacts. This might explain why it could help with some patients.

Other people get in trouble because their immune system is already compromised. So giving it to those people could help kill them.

This is why you listen to medical experts and not fringe economists like Navarro.

 

So when trump asks what could it hurt, the answer is it could kill people who still have a fighting chance. And if taken prophylactically, it could predispose people to severe infections by suppressing the immune system.

 

I would be under the care of a professional and take what was given me. I might be biased but I don't know anything about COVID but after chasing a sickness in my herd I know even less. I surely know how hard it is to treat an unknown.
