TDS? Does that not stand for Trump Deluded Syndrome, where one becomes so enamored with Trump that one fails to see how horribly incompetent and corrupt he is.
Huh? We don't have a NHS, or anything like it. Our hospitals are doing an amazing job and aren't overrun like the NHS, who's allowed even their PM and Prince to get the virus because they were so unprepared.
TDS? Does that not stand for Trump Deluded Syndrome, where one becomes so enamored with Trump, the president of low expectations, that one deludes oneself into thinking that Trump is a great leader and can do no wrong. It is an emotional attachment that prevents one's brain from processing the facts that abound which contradict their delusions. It is actually kind of funny, in a creepy kind of way.
I give you credit for being smarter than that, you know exactly what TDS stands for and who it affects. One of the effects is for the person with it to try and invert things, to mirror them back on others to avoid acknowledging you are controlled by it. Kind of like your approach above. Did I give you too much credit?
Some in NYC were...until the President sent in the Navy and Army Corp of Engineers. the NHS is a mess
Any hospital in a hot spot is overwhelmed (whether here or in the UK)...and the Navy ship and Corps tents were barely used
nope they are currently being used, and the NY Gov is greatly appreciative of the President leadership in providing them. and no not every hosptial is overwhelmed in NYC.
They each have less than 100 patients and those only because they are too sick to move. It was good that they were available...don't get me wrong...but they arrived and got up to speed just as the thing peaked
The virus is not China's fault and they could have never prevented the worldwide spread. Despite knowing about this virus since December, the world did little to prepare for it. China didn't cause people to sit on their hands after they knew about it.
Who knows anymore. Once your precious Hillary got Destroyed by Trump, the alt left has been making a ton of weird acronyms.
Interesting about that. The British government has re-examined the available evidence and now some of their experts are saying that it's looking more and more as if the Chinese did have a laboratory breach and released the Corona Virus. Of course it can never be proved, but they are saying it after re-examining the available evidence.
If that ends up being the case then I can accept that, but it needs to be evidence based. There is a huge financial and political motive to pin the blame firmly on China which is what we've seen happening here in this country since February, without evidence. We would accept nothing less than a solid clear evidentiary case if someone was making that claim about the United States. It should be no different when it comes to China.
I agree. Frankly it's the equivalent of playing with a bottle of unstable nitroglycerin to accuse the Communist Chinese of having had the biochemical warfare equivalent of Chernobyl and thus accidentally infect the entire freaking world. While their government is not as unstable in nature as -- say -- the nutcase ruling North Korea, they might still prefer to save face in war than to long endure accusations of having screwed up in such a manner -- especially if it happens to be true.
Yes, we know they tried to cover up the virus. That's not being disputed. But you're not just blaming them for covering it up, you're blaming them for it, period. Cover-up or no cover-up, the virus had started to spread before anyone could have reasonably understood that this was a new virus and not something routine. China could have never contained it, and they are a government willing to go to more extreme lengths than western governments are. COVID-19 was going to infect the world no matter what. That's what a virus does. And you're ignoring the fact that even despite the attempt at covering it up, the virus was known about in December. Our governments had months to prepare, but didn't. So that means making a case that China's coverup cost lives is a pretty hard one to make since very little action was taken despite knowing of the virus's existence.
the only real question is why are Dems so soft on China this could be why https://nypost.com/2019/05/11/the-troubling-reason-why-biden-is-so-soft-on-china/ had they not lied the world could have prepared properly, and even potentially contained it in China
I'm not soft or hard on China, I am objective. Show me some evidence outside of your own bias that says China is to blame for the virus, not just the cover-up. And I say bias because you go on to make this claim below Your claim here is baseless since the world DID know months before it got bad and didn't do anything.
China is at fault for lying about the virus and not initially taking it seriously. They have since done a good job of containing it Trump is at fault for lying about it and not taking it seriously He has done a POOR job of containing it
And who is having the biggest problem? New York. Where Cuomo and the mayor encouraged the Chinese celebrations to go on.
New York...where flights from Italy were landing at THREE international airports for months after Trump "banned" flights from China...well kinda
BS. Many hospitals in large cities are so underwhelmed, they are laying off personnel. The Mayo clinic being a prime example.
