I live in a city with the one of the highest rates of concealed guns along with mental illness and thug behavior in the world I think concealed guns does zero to help anyone and people are more likely to use their gun on innocent I support guns but concealed guns should be illegal
If anyone REALLY was interested in "founder's intent" handguns could well be otside of 2nd amendment coverage arguably. Most crimes involving guns, involve handguns, concealable handguns. IMO an argument could be made that ALL rifles, including "assault rifles", "select fire" (fully automatic), and submachine guns are covered by 2A. Military weapons across the board, shoud be legal. Handguns aren't that useful for anything beyond killing and strongarming other pepole. You can't seriously hunt with a handgun. If you need a home defense gun, you're better off with something ie a Mossberg 500 pistol grip anyway. I know I will get much crying and gnashing of teeth over my opinion, but oh well ,tough, you're not gonna convince me we wouldn't be better off if handguns were gone, and alll rifles of any kind were legal. We'd be in a much better place.
Interesting you mentioned high mental illness rates but totally couldn't care less about addressing that issue. As usual, laser focused on the object. And yet ALL mass shootings involve mental illness. Instead of attacking Constitutional Rights, how about focusing on the real problem of bad anti-Conservative policies that go easy on violent criminals and create tons of fatherless children that grow up with little or no guidance and no discipline? Hand guns do not get up in the morning and decide to go murder people. People do. It is only an object. It requires a criminal or mentally ill person to pull the trigger. As usual with the gun grabbing crowd, the root issues are never addressed and the law abiding are always required to compensate for and accomodate the criminals. BTW, in self defense situations, especially for women, trying to use a long gun for self defense in situations outside the home is a ridiculous suggestion. Most gun grabber comments totally ignore women's needs for personal protection. Conservatives and the 2nd Amendment care for women's safety. It's terrible that gun grabbers would suggest 95lb ladies should have to face several large, violent savages with their bare hands. If ever anti-Conservatives decide to truly address the issues of horrible policies that foster and encourage criminal activity, then at that point the nation can have a serious discussion about guns. Until then, I don't care what makes you feel personally comfortable. Tough. Leave my Constitutional Rights alone. You're never gonna convince me we'd be better off with no hand guns while horrendous, criminal coddling anti-Conservative polices create a society full of savages and predators where in situations outside the home prey on the small, frail and physically weak. Ladies would face the most peril w/o hand guns. However, I do agree that law abiding citizens should be able to own ANY long gun they desire.

There are many good MMA studios outside of Miami or wherever you are in FL. There is good weather all the way up to Orlando year round. Run for office and clean the place up. If AOC got elected, you can. Make a difference.
