will you be content if neither he nor any member of his immediate family is prosecuted for any crimes by either state or federal authorities.?

    Your question makes no sense.

Are you implying that he is immune to prosecution once he becomes a former president?

    Because that ain't gonna happen.

    One, he can't pardon himself.

Two, he won't resign so Pence will pardon him.

Three, the states of FL, NJ, and NY want to charge him.

What if none of those states mentioned choose not to charge him? Perhaps because they think it will be seen as "piling on".

I don't know about FL or NJ, but NY will definitely prosecute once he's out of the WH.

Well actually he'd have to have done something criminal which he didn't. There is a difference between distasteful and cri.unal, granted that's a difficult concept for leftist to grasp, but it is none the less true.

What if President Joe Biden decides it would be a distraction from the early days of his new administration and puts pressure on prosecutors in New York to not do so?

You post is meaningless because you do not know precisely what evidence the SDNY has. Once he's out of office, they will charge and thus a trial will ensue, at which point then you can say whether or not he committed a crime after they present the evidence.

His win or loss is not related to the judicial process against him. Once he is out - whether this year or in four years - he will face criminal investigation.

It is natural for new presidents to want the attention on them and their policy proposals. Not on the previous administration.

Remember that President Trump for all that insipid howling about Hillary Clinton "Lock her up", made no effort to have her prosecuted for anything.

Nor sir do you know what if anything they have. Wishful thinking on your part does not mean there is anything there.

From the perch of the average citizen, with the power of the Internet to search through many articles, I certainly see smoke. Whether there is fire or not, I do not know. That is the role of investigators and prosecutors. A trial is the mechanism to determine if a crime has been committed. So whatever argument you think you are making it too is based on wishful thinking.

NY may very well prosecute him for tax fraud and other crimes.

and no President can pardon someone for state crimes.

I would be very surprised if the NY Attorney General does not already have subpoena ready to go for Trump for the irregularities in his charity and
    his university.

That's like asking "If a fish breathed air, would you refuse to eat it?"

    Fish: Don't breathe air
    Irresistibly tasty: Fish

    Trump: Won't lose
State authorities: Will NEVER charge an ex-prex

    Also...

Trump opponents: Will never be satisfied (by anything, ever)

Voters do not have the power to pardon. All they do is pick who leads them forward. The crimes were put on the books for a reason. I want District Attorneys/ department of Justice to make that call based on the evidence, the chance of a conviction, the nature of the crime, and the priorities set by District Attorney's office . . They are provided discretion on which cases to take to court, which ones to plea away, and which ones drop. Its a complicated matter, that is best left to them.

He also has a slew of women waiting to sue him for assault.
He's already under indictment in several cases and they will go forward next year if he is no longer protected by immunity.
He and his family should get what they deserve, so if they've broken the laws, why would you want them to skate?

I think prosecuting a former president would damage our government and our country. Potentially making it ungovernable.

I'm reasonably sure most of the United States doesn't give a damn about New York. Either the state or that abominable city.
