New Yorkers have had the opportunity to vote him out since his clueless remarks? Oh, that's interesting! I must have missed that election! :roflol:

Yes, by Nancy. Then she holds up aid to Americans and tries to add a bunch of unrelated crap into it, holding suffering Americans in limbo. #RealDeplorables

Just as I suspected - absolutely ZERO defence of her holding up aid to push green policies! No surprise there, I mean it's a very difficult thing to defend! :roflol:

Did I say that it was relevant to ice cream? You're now just using 'ice cream' as a red herring, trying to hide the fact that she held up aid to push green policies! I await your predicable "ice cream" focused, utterly PATHETIC and LAUGHABLE reply! :roflol:

Well NOW we're getting somewhere. You've given more than just "ice cream" this time! Alright, you're not a D - and you don't care that she held up aid to push green policies. So that rules out the possibility of you being someone who is financially struggling right now due to the collapsed economy. That's good to know! I just wonder if you have any empathy with those who ARE struggling. It sure doesn't sound like it.

Well then you might as well also not vote for Biden! Since they're basically the same old senile person who has about a one thousand year long Washington tenure! Although, I can't imagine that you'll be voting for Trump! If I had to guess, you won't be voting in November, or else you'll cast a useless vote for the Libertarian or Green candidate or something.

No, but I doubt there are 20 million eager applicants.

There are a huge chunk getting paid well enough to sit home. And a chunk getting paid more than when they worked.

States like Jersey have very generous pro worker rules I've been told but havent researched it.

I had (have) the time right now to get a job at grocery but honestly I really dont wanna be hanging around that many peeps for $12 an hour, thankfully I'm not in a position where I need the $12 that badly.

Anyway, I have a crap ton of sympathy and support for those that have been impacted and I want doors opened back up, but I'm not saying that stadiums full of rabid fans is a great idea, it's a bad one.

Well for one there are a LOT if people out there.

not everyone was well prepared financially for the initial hit and not everyone has received that money yet.

This is big problem in Florida right now for example.

There are most definitely people that have slipped through the cracks and are getting screwed big time. So they have the right to be upset.

Trump's new guidelines: Get a job or volunteer if you want Medicaid

    Agree!

Question: Do protesters have the time to volunteer? Pay; $2,000/month

Yes. And if my neighbor told me how tough things were, my first answer would be to rattle off some names of companies that are hiring. Its practical advice, and a good idea to do it now before others take those jobs.

If it was about food on the table I'd be there too, and maybe id slip the interviewer a $20.

But don't get me wrong I want crap to open back up, I'm lucky that I can limit my own exposure and still get paid, the wife is considered essential, yes we are being exposed, its unavoidable.

I think the shoe store or the tshirt shop is just as safe as the grocery. Probably safer. Open it up

    Out of touch.

And while ordinary Americans who are suddenly and unexpectedly out of work and struggling to make ends meet are fortunate to find meat and bread flour on the shelves of their local grocery stores, you and your Queen Nancy Antoinette can take solace in the fact that she's got her stockpiles of chocolates and ice cream.

    Guffaw...

He made out that each and every one of the protestors could have their issues solved if they got an essential job. You see that, right?

I'm guessing that you won't be able to cite a source to back up your claim that there are 1.4 million essential jobs in NY State, and they're all ones which don't require years of qualifications and training.

I didnt even see the clip to be honest. So I'll trust that he said "each and every one" but he probably didnt go that far and he doesn't have 20 mil in NY alone.

    Anyway...

I was responding to the general concept that yes, there are quick fix jobs available, but not necessarily the fun high paying ones.

And yes, those getting screwed should be raising a bit of hell. I'm ok with that because of my previous comments, like is a shoe store really more dangerous than Walmart?

I find it difficult to give Cuomo credit for much, except that even now, he's crying that the virus is from Europe... It's as if he doesn't understand his own foreign travelers moving through his three international airports, or his businesses statewide that globally interact.. But his contention is that Wuhan came from Europe? He is playing a propaganda game that he'd rather support the Chinese than the EU. That seems a shaky strategy at best. Who pays him the most might become an interesting question for an FEC investigation....
