‘Media Bias/Fact Check’ Site Served With Cease And Desist, Gets Fact-Checked

    “Today, PSI has issued Media Bias/Fact Check (MBFC) site owner, Dave Van Zandt with a pre-action legal notice to take down the defamatory and false smear.

    Ironically, the self-styled ‘MEDIA BIAS/FACT CHECK‘ (MB/FC) which negatively fact-checked PSI admits it relies on the subjective bias to decide how biased others are. In other words, MB/FC is a pseudoscientific fact checker!

    Apart from unlawfully smearing PSI, Mr. Van Zandt has smeared other websites that publish scientific articles critical of man-made global warming claims. Among the unfairly smeared are:

    Below we help readers to fact-check the pseudo-fact-checker. We put Dave Van Zandt the faceless fact-checker under the microscope and discovered the following:

    • Van Zandt Cites No Scientific Qualifications At All
    • Van Zandt Was Exposed By WND As A Fraud And A Liar
    • Van Zandt’s Website (MBFC) Does Not Apply Any Objective Scientific Method
    • MBFC Relies On Unverifiable Subjectivity (Own Bias) To Make Judgments
    In a 2017 WND Exclusive ‘Phony baloney: The 9 fakest fake-news checkers’, Chelsea Schilling uncovered that Van Zandt was a seasoned systemic faker.”

    This action has been a long time coming and I’m glad it finally did. There are few groups on line that are as big a fraudulent operation as MBFC is. They claim objectivity when they have none. They claim it while having a deliberate bias of their own. I hope enough people they have wronged take them to court until their site has to be taken down due to the harm it has caused many legitimate organizations.

    Dave Van Zandt and his “volunteers” are unqualified to rate media sources and are hate filled bigots when it comes to social conservatives, evangelical Christians, and those who disagree with their narrow views of science. Their hate site is of no redeeming value

    No doubt. At another place I go to kind of similar to here it is the holy grail. Nothing that it deems to be questionable, pseudoscience, conspiracy/nationalist/pro Trump propaganda is allowed to be a source to seed articles there from and any and all criticism of MBFC or how it does things is totally forbidden. So liberals get virtual free reign there while Evangelical Christians and conservatives debate as Rush does, with half our brains tied behind our backs. Oh and the moderation by some is totally god complex control freak there

    Fact checking is useless anyway. Case in point. Minorities commit more violent crime. Fact checkers will explain that away to being false. Useless.

    ~ ' Fact Or Fake ? ' was an older site that checked reliability of these "fact checkers". I remember they said it was usually about a 60% chance of getting accurate information. Apparently they are not held to the same standard as actual news media.

    It doesn't matter how left or right wing a fact checker site is, when they refuse to publish those facts ie Joe Biden and sexual assault rumors
