No enumerated legislative power exists to do so. While @dagosa is correct in his statement that "You can’t name one municipality, one state or one square mile of property in the United States that isn’t subject to firearm regulation" that is more an indication that the Constitution really an archaic artifact of the past that holds no sway and that the 545 ruling elite of the United States are hypocrites.

Those regulations should not exist as they infringe upon the rights of all people. Gun ownership is a property right and is no different to your right to own a shovel and all property rights are derived from your right to life.

And that's what these infringements come down to, isn't it? Your right to life

There’s no right in the constitution that is absolute, unless you’re fine with 12 year olds exchanging full automatic weapons, drugs and other illicit material in the open on the streets of a small town through to Manhattan. Drugs after all, is nothing more then property. Why be agasint the use of marijuana ? It’s just property.

Like wise, the right of any industry to conduct any business all the while spewing toxic fumes into the air and garbage into our fresh water. Name one major endeavor including the right to assemble, free speech and your property right that is not regulated.
There is literally as much “property type” that is not allowed or highly regulated then is.

Property rights ? Do you actually own land property, that isn’t taxed, insured and regulated ? “Guns at all cost” advocates are still under the illusion that that we don’t regulate and are all stuck for a reason why it includes firearms. All the while, they are pretending they are a member of the SC and know more then they do about interpretation of the constitution.

Btw, I’ve been a contractor for decades and operated everything from dozers to back hoes to excavators to a common shovel. Maybe we didn’t know excavators are common mechanical shovels. They are highly regulated as is the common hand shovel in hardware stores. It may not be regulated for you to own some types, but you’ll have to build it yourself....some types are ILLEGAL TO SELL privately like firearms should be but still regulated commercially.

Sure, let’s legalize pot federally while we’re at it.

How is the illegal acquisition of firearms regarded as being an exception to the law? Explain such.

It sounds like you don't care what the constitution says.

Which of congress's legislative powers would have allowed it to make pot illegal in the first place?

Is it a common occurrence in the united states for those who are twelve years old, to possess the seven hundred to three thousand dollars necessary to purchase a common AR-15 rifle?

If not, then drop the hyperbole outright.

You are incorrect. Private sales to felons is already a crime and most states require a DROS for these sales. The GOP is not the one coming up with these BS laws that only affect law abiding citizens and provide killers with easy targets.

Those that have been altered to pollute more then allowed by pollution standards. Just like automobiles you can’t alter Their mechanics including drive train or hydraulics in anyway to cause additional pollution, the try to sell it privately with the intent of registering it. . Contractors that do work in environmentally sensible areas like we need to be licensed where we work, can lose their license for such practices when heavy equipment is altered then resold on the open market. Don’t go there. We live with regulation in everything we do as contractors.

That seems unlikely. Even in states that require regular emission checks, it only applies to vehicles that are operated on public property. There are no restrictions that I'm aware of on any vehicles or equipment operated privately on private property, except on Union jobsites or in specially environmentally regulated locations like wetlands or wildlife preserves.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you're suggesting that certain equipment like certain types of excavators cant be sold to me and used by me, for example, in my back yard to dig a sandbox (yes, overkill, but ftsoa) without certain regulations, permits and emission checks? If so, please provide a source for that...

    That’s absolutely WRONG.
It is NOT a federal crime to sell a firearm privately to anyone, whether they are a convicted felon or not, if you don’t ask them for any identification. Btw, how would you know ? There is no federal law requiring anyone in private sales to identify a felon, let aline a convicted felon. . As of 2019 only 15 states require a background check for a private sale. There is no crime for selling a firearm to an unknown felon. No private seller is responsible for identifying the illegal status of a buyer. So, private sales to “convicted” felons is perfectly legal in all but 15 states....if you look dumb.

It is illegal for felons to purchase or have control of a firearm. Name one gun law that prevents Flaco-the felon from getting a gun.

Now you’re changing the story.....I said it was legal to SELL a gun privately to a felon....so that makes 35 states where it’s perfectly legal to sell a gun and not do a BC. Do you think the felon is going to turn himself in ? Ha ha you’re funny.
That gives convicted felons millions of opportunity to buy guns in 35 states.

Why is such of any relevance or importance, when it is already illegal for a prohibited individual to purchase or possess a firearm under any circumstances? Why is it also necessary for firearm-related restrictions to clarify that one cannot legally sell firearms to a prohibited individual, when they already cannot legally purchase a firearm?

In simple terms, why do you feel it necessary to create even more felons, when the ones already in place are proving to be too numerous to address?

No change in story. "Private sales to felons is already a crime" It is only 22 states that require DROS on private sales, but like any other law, it only applies to those willing to follow the law. Every criminals who wants something illegal has it already.

You were going to tell us about a law that would prevent Flaco-the felon from getting a gun.

You said MOST STATES. That’s wrong. There is no federal law and no state law in MOST states that prevents a private citizen from selling a firearm to a CONVICTED felon. You can remain legal and avoid all responsibility easily simply by, obeying the law to the letter.

now you’re asking a different question...how many times do you need to be proven wrong ?

No, but I do know about automechanics, and I know for a fact you're wrong about being able to sell modified cars privately. I can buy, have and use any car on my property regardless of its emissions so long as it isn't stolen.

I'm calling BS on that one, if it is true then post a statute or regulation that prohibits the resale of any form of heavy construction equipment, I doubt you will, because such doesn't exist.

I can buy any machine used for digging, all I need is to have the money to pay for it, and I can use that equipment on my property, without any form of a license.

I may have to pull permits to do the work, but there no restrictions, other than skill on the equipment I can use to carry out that work.

Once again you have pushed out a myth claiming it is a fact.

Actually all types of heavy equipment is offered over the net, bring the money and any of it can be yours to take home.
