Nazi symbols targeting the Governor for her policies are not supporting Nazi's....

There was an outrage for a few days when it came out... Then the LT Governor had his own issue and magically when it looked like Republicans would regain the state KKK imagery, Blackface and rape allegations were not a big deal to Progressives and you all circled the wagons.

Oh so you were just deflecting by the recent actions of the right by posting 30 year old photos... gotcha.

I could care less what occurred before I was born

Nazi iconology is Nazi iconology no matter how you dress it up.
But the same excuses are made for the treasonous confederate flag so the defense is expected.

They were so furiously circling the wagons around those three that you needed a G-suit to withstand the vomit-inducing centrifugal force of their hypocrisy.

They were comparing the gov to a nazi. The nuance there is infinite but I forgot dems don’t care about nuance if it gets in the way of their narrative

So you think that was a supporter of the Governor with the HEIL? sign? Or do you think a Trump supporter was protesting the Governor by saluting her?

    Who is “you all”?

If you are talking about blackface and a costume from a time when it was perfectly acceptable and that person has apologized and made attempts to reconcile this then I don’t really care. People, especially the youth, do stupid things — maybe you never have but you would be in the minority.

Rape allegations should be taken seriously as they harmed someone — they should be investigated and charged appropriately. Unfortunately this is being used as a political weapon so it requires some level of both belief and skepticism.

I fail to see the difference
Either way that person should be condemned, not defended or excused as you seem to be doing.

Again, Nazi iconology is Nazi iconology no matter how you dress it up.
But the same excuses are made for the treasonous confederate flag so the defense is expected.

How do you know the accusations against the Lt Governor are "political"?

Since when was blackface acceptable can you give me the years? I will save it for you next time it comes out someone was in it and this time they were Conservative? Or is it ok now that the Prime Minister of Canada was caught doing it multiple times?

Condemned for what? Are you suggesting that sign supports Nazi's? Is Whitmer a Nazi?

I'm watching you trying to defend the indefensible.

    Of course you don't.

Should I bookmark your post so you can eat those words later?

I didn’t say they were, I have not looked into the event enough to make such a statement. I heard about the blackface and the KKK outfit.

Are you denying that it was once seen as both acceptable and often used in comedy?

As for you “saving it for me”, feel free — I have mentioned blackface twice in the 9 years I have been on this forum — once in this thread and once trying (and failing) to show the difference between a trans person and a person imitating a black person.

I have never commented on a Republican doing it. Your consistent deflection is noted however

Obviously, it was a form of criticism and denunciation - two things "progressive" fascists have never tolerated. They don't handle ridicule well, either...

    Knock yourself out.

It is interesting that you are defending Nazi symbols today but blackface decades ago is where you draw the line.

I believe I have been clear that it is Nazi iconology.
I do not claim to know what the person suports

What country do you believe I live in?

Why would I protest the history of World War 1?
We killed those people to protest it, just like we did the confederacy — doesn’t seem to stop the right from worshipping those ideologies however.

Taking you to task on your political views is hardly a deflection on a political forum..

For the record, that was never perfectly acceptable.

To make matters worse, "Coonman" denied he was in the picture the day after he issued his "mea culpa".

And Leftists are still circling the wagons...

    Canada..

    No commentary on the video?

So the "right" to you "worships Nazi's"?

Come out and just say it so we can all laugh at you.

If that's the case, then recall her from office; I think that's a better scenario as opposed to taking the law into your own hands (in which violence could occur).

You obviously have no idea what my political views are. But feel free to do what you feel is warranted.
So far you haven’t taken anyone yo task outside of defending Nazi signs.
Oh well. To each their own.

A sign calling the Governor of Michigan a Nazi is defending Nazi's?

    Btw on blackface

    https://www.vox.com/2014/10/29/7089591/why-is-blackface-offensive-halloween-costume

Notice the date.. Well before a few well known Liberals got caught wearing it.. Now its no big deal right.. Context and nuance right?
