There is a consensus among all medical professionals, including doctors and scientists, that testing is an important function of controlling the spread of the virus.
If you think otherwise then name some scientists working for the CDC or the NIH who believe "testing is overrated".

The issues with nursing homes is a separate issue and has nothing to do with the above fact.
