There's no embarrassment or difficulty, just some pretentious semblance of intellect or skillfulness on your lot's behalf... which is more painful and cringeworthy than your faux Trump outrage.

    See what I mean?
The 72 year old President of the United States speaking like a 6 year old and it's just to be ignored.

Wonder how they'd act if someone like Obama had spoken that way?

I think the answer to that question is important enough that it deserves a new thread, so I started one:

    you lack basic understand
fewer testing would then mean fewer recorder cases
and if you put it in context
it was in comparison why the US has much higher recorded cases then other countries and the answer is because we have done more testing than most other countries

It is hilarious that you talk as if you have some superior intellect yet you applaud the politician with the least intelligence and haven't figured out how a political forum works.

Leading Democrats were telling people to party it up in Chinatown. They were still having rallys at a time you’re claiming Trump should have shut the country down. Cuomo was forcing healthy people back into nursing homes with sick people.

Trump has used the Defense production act. Are you daft? Trump alone doesn’t make decision whether to use tests or not. PLEASE quote the CDC or experts telling him to accept the early tests and he personally refused. Go ahead. And for fracks sake DO NOT post an editorial from some hack at CNN or the NYT claiming an unnamed source said something.
Trump made decisions AT THE TIME that were in line with what the experts were advising him on. You know the experts Leftists keep saying he needs to listen to. STOP PLAYING MONDAY MORNING QB!! It’s pointless. WHO was telling us in January it wasn’t transmissible through humans. At what fracking point do you expect Trump to shut the country down when barely anyone had it or died?

Either work from an accurate unbiased timeline or don’t bother posting. Krenshaw as an example, has been one of the most level headed and honest politicians during this whole time. Ignore his R. Just listen to his words. He is still critical. But it’s logical and rational. Compare that to others who think our country can survive while we pay everyone to sit home and NOT work.

    Get serious!

What is your issue with Chinatowns? Do you think Chinese visitors immediately report to their nearest Chinatown when they enter our country? Were Chinese the only people spreading the virus?

But yeah, Trump's excuse is "the WHO said in January..." Well, we all know he did nothing in February and the first half of March. Did his scientific advisors tell him to hold rallies and do nothing else?

Actually, it isn't hatred. (At least not on my part.) It is a recognition of who he really is and an understanding that he is completely unsuited for the position he now holds.

Do you know any salesman from Trump's generation? Or have you read Art of the Deal? Trump is a salesman. A real estate salesman. And salesmen of that era used FOMO and exaggeration to make their sales. If asked a question about a property, the answer would include an exaggeration. And now, we are seeing him to the very same thing in the WH. I have no problem dealing with a salesman who uses these tactics, but I certainly have a problem when it is coming from POTUS. He doesn't think about lying or exaggerating - it just falls from his mouth. He has spent his life doing it.

And I'd argue that's vastly superior to an agenda left leaning professional politician.

You'll notice i never defend his charecter. I only combat the lies and nastiness directed towards him.

I appreciate that you can separate the character from the actions. Unfortunately, I see the character as contributing to the actions.

In his day, salesmen weren't expected to get into the weeds with details - they just went out and made the sale. We see the same with Trump's lack of interest in the Intelligence Briefings. He says that he is the country's cheerleader, but in reality, he is the salesman. When he said that there were 15 cases and they would soon go down to zero - and that they had things under control - that they'd done a great job...that was the salesman talking. There was a boatload of factual information at his fingertips, but he chose not to focus on that. He wanted to sell the country on the idea that 'everything was going to be fine'. And while there are many who don't see the problem with that - they think its better to have that kind of message than a dire one - I, personally, don't like to be 'sold to' in that manner. Not when things are serious. Not when lives are at stake. Honesty, in those situations, is very important. And Trump would have garnered a whole lot more respect if he'd been more honest. But he fell back to what he knows...selling at all costs.

Isn't the lies and nastiness the root of Trumps persona ?

With respect to the 'lies' part, Trump became very wealthy using lies. He spent years using it as a tool. Nastiness, however, is a different matter. And we see it come out when he is challenged. Likely Trump hasn't been challenged much in the latter part of his business life - and he doesn't have an effective strategy when that happens. So counter attacks are his 'go to'.

Sure, but not everyone is so perturbed by a person's innocuous comments that they must start a thread about it and try to convince others that it's an issue of concern.

The forum is working as it should, we're having a discussion. I'm trying to point out that this comment by Trump isn't worth the reaction it's gotten.

So you're taking cues from the people who didn't like Obama to guide your reactions to Trump?
