Boy oh Boy I'm in Hog heaven.Whatever that idiom means.
I just bought at Wal*mart yesterday the latest itineration of the
    classic ... - The Call of the Wild - { 2019 }
The standard for all Dog and Man movies.Written by legendary
writer Jack London { one of my Writer Hero's }.
I have just finished but a few scenes. From the very first scene
it bowled me over.I knew I was ready to fall in love.Being a
Movie buff ... It passed with flying colors a prerequisite I feel
compelled to crave.High Production value.I have never in all me
Lonesome viewing of Movie and Flicks such a phenonmenal
outstanding use of Cinemascope excellence.I kept wondering
    just how did they pull off all those amazing { and believeable }
Dog { Buck } stunts.Plus the settings and characterizations.
I will keep informed.I normally savor a worthwhile movie.
    Watching in segments.

    The Clark Gable/Loretta Young version { 1935 } far & away
my favorite.Tried over the years to score a copy.No luck.
Clark Gable is ideally cast.Makes for the perfect Jack Thornton.
The only other actor who possibly top the King of Hollywood
in that role would be John Barrymore or Paul Muni.
    It is GooT I don't have a copy,Because the Gable/Young version
has an ending made for Crying.Sometimes it is valuable to cry.
It means you have an inner substance..Some Dogs can sense it.
Not too sure about some humans.
There is NO questioning that Buck and Jack lloved each other.
But Life is Life.An Animal has certain callings.A need to
be with his own.It is also a law.Like Law of Club and Fang.
Jack understood the need for Buck to answer his call. His inner wolf.
That is Life.No one gets out of Life alive.

Pretty much standard CW { conventional wisdom } used for the
last 10 or so years. That if Harley sales slump it's simple.
Most those who lust after a Harley already bought one.
But since Harleys are not one particular vehicle like a Mustang
or Camaro, let alone a Vette,it pretty much follows.
Which is exactly why Harleys have so many makes { versions
    of a Model }.Which I figger'd out a Long time ago.
Plus Harley no long can rely on their Resale value.
That was it's biggest attraction. They hold their value.
Which was true in the 1990's.Harley's are Overpriced ...
    PERIOD !

This CD still plays. I pulled it out of a trash can that was on fire. I made out like a bandit that day.

My Next door neighbors dog is named " Bandit ". And
The DooRs hit song - Light my Fire - is well
C'mon baby can ya still dig it.
Older songs are best. Not just because all the good lyrics
have been used but because they dealt with real life.
    In most cases.
Not so sure about Jim Morrison ... however.Read his Bio a long time
ago { early 80's }. He grew up in a very rigid Military Family.
His Pops was a Rear Admiral.Could explain his attitude when
getting a chance to leave home and be on his own.I,too had the
same conditions.Rigid upbringing and once free and in college
I took full advantage.Took me 4 years of college to Flunk out.
I Think Morrison attempted it in about 2 years.A big reader and drinker,
    was he.And me too.

Executive Order shmorder.... if I could make one, I would have everyone videoed riding a mechanical bull and make it a public database so you could look them up. Most of us would never be taken serious again.

Five years in this virtual bar today. If someone wants to award me a virtual major prize I would not turn it down. Hell, I’ll settle for a virtual beer.
