Yes, I'm afraid he doesn't. He seems to alienate people who do to the point he and they end up parting ways.

When you think about it. It all started with a few people from China and Europe. And now we have probably 10 million running around the country with it. Kind of makes you root for social distancing.

I know a healthy 42 year old female who had it mildly for a couple of weeks, which turned into less mild for another two weeks, followed by two weeks of pneumonia. Keeping in mind that her entire family had to stay quarantined with her for the entire six weeks. Not allowed past their front gate (and yes, police check to make sure you're staying at home if you're in a COVID household - which is part of the reason our numbers are so low. no selfish ****ers breaching quarantine and spreading it around just because they're bored).

    What a freaking disaster :(

Could so easily have been avoided had your Glorious Leader stopped all non-essential travel, closed state borders, and locked the nation down hard for a month.

It was probably a mix up. That happens.

Sometimes they do things like remove the wrong kidney or lung.

We are too selfish to do that.

    Even for an emergency.

    We failed the test.

Individual selfishness is part of the equation. Emergency measures via Govt edict have to come first, if the populace isn't as cautious as Japan's and South Korea's.

First and foremost Govts have failed, all over the West. Only Greece - the poorest and least powerful nation in the West - has not failed.

Several people who attended a high school swim party in Arkansas have contracted Covid-19, Governor Asa Hutchinson told reporters on Saturday.
"A high school swim party that I'm sure everybody thought was harmless. They're young, they're swimming, they're just having activity and positive cases resulted from that," Hutchinson said.
The governor declined to provide further details on the swim party but noted the incident was "just an encouragement for us to be disciplined in our activities.
"During this Memorial (Day) weekend, we want to be out and we want to enjoy ourselves, we want to remember this holiday and those that have served our country and given their lives in service of our country. But let's be safe and let's be disciplined at the same time," Hutchinson said.
So I guess all swim parties are off if the COVID-19 found its way into something like this. Are we going to let this stop us? Think about it.

The same as the rest of Europe (though my Greek friends tell me shutdowns were stricter, and people more cautious), but Greeks generally do spend more time outdoors. Plus, outside the capital people still live something of the 'village' life - which is proving to be safer in this pandemic than modern urban/suburban life. Not so much day to day activity spent inside crowded climate controlled public buildings like supermarkets, shopping malls, etc. Such activities can be effected via a variety of smaller main street stores and open air produce markets. Lots of sunlight, fresh air, and less focused contamination in one spot.

    Yep, that's how it spreads.

Yeah but the Greeks have baklava. Anyone can sit around eating baklava all day.

And apparently none of the high schoolers died from the infection. Their healthy immune systems defeated the virus, and the net result was antibodies and immunity.

The herd immunity grows every single day, and nobody on MSM likes to talk about it.

    More like 230 million.

The CDC recently estimated that about 30% of the US population has been exposed.

Did they kill their parents or grandparents? How far did it spread?

Why are you pushing this crackpot conspiracy nonsense. One of the core approaches is to artificially spread the immunity using blood from people who have recovered.

If you actually watched the MSM you would know that.

Just remember, if we relied completely on natural herd immunity, some of the million or more people you are sentencing to death could include you or people you love.

Which family members are you willing to sacrifice for the sake of not having to wear a mask or make any effort to be sensible.

Even though businesses around the country are or will be reopening, Will it be the right thing to do? We all know that we have felt the effects of the pandemic for some time and how will things be maybe in 3, 6, 9 months from now? or how will things be next year? Do you ever think what will happen next year? Do any of you wonder whether there will really be a cure for the Coronavirus anytime soon? It will be a matter of time.

It will take some time no matter what. In the mean time. we need to watch closely and see what causes rapid spread and what we can manage.

Just having effective testing readily available would help a lot. In principle, if you knew who has it, you could isolate them for a month and be done.

Having antibody tests will help as well. Knowing you are immune [assuming that is the case, which appears to be so] allows you to return to a regular routine.

No, the net result is that probably every one of them managed to spread it to others before they were diagnosed. Maybe to your elderly relatives, or your fat 40 year old friend with diabetes, or your fit 50 year old friend in whom it causes permanent organ damage.
