I haven’t bought food since early February. You should feel terrible forcing grocery workers to risk their lives for you.

Yawn....same old tired self righteous post material...."I'm staying home to protect others!" "I'm wearing PPE to protect others!" But of course even though you are doing it for "others" you feel the need to brag about doing it publically....

I need to get grocery store supplies. There's not much roadkill where I live.

Why does talking in matter-of-fact terms about doing the right thing seems like bragging to you? Strange.

Because the size of a federal stockpile would be smaller than the sum total of the stockpiles for fifty states. Do you understand why?

You consider me detailing my average work day as bragging?

Like it or not, I have been using PPE in the way that it is designed for far longer than COVID-19 has been around.

NEWSFLASH: There are a plethora of other diseases that require PPE.

Oh sure. You’re smarter then Fauci. Got anymore Lysol milk shakes ?
It’s amazing how smart righties think you are. 10 recessions in the last 11, a pandemic with thousands needlessly dying and all the right can say is....whaaa, you’re picking on us.

You should have been prepared. You are responsible for spreading the virus directly or indirectly. Shameful behavior putting others at risk.

    Yes I do.

"I don't wear a mask and gloves because I fear you are contagious.

I wear them because I fear that I am."

That is a self righteous comment pure and simple. Sounds like t shirt slogan.

Dr. Fauxi at first said virus wasn't transferable from human to human. He is all over the map with what he says. He should follow your lead and just admit he doesn't know everything. Of course you don't care about that. You just follow government.

The truth bothers you that much, huh?

Not that you'll even try to understand, but I will do my best to explain it to you anyway.

I have a caseload of approximately 100 patients that I must see, face to face, at least once every 30 days.

Before COVID-19 this wasn't much of a problem. I wore PPE if the patient was assumed to be infectious.

With the advent of COVID-19 things changed. The first patient I see in the morning may be positive for the virus. Without PPE I might acquire the infection but not know it for up to two weeks. Now I go and see and see my other 10 patients for the day, potentially infecting each one.

Instead, I wear PPE to protect the patients from MY POTENTIAL INFECTION.

Not because I am morally superior, but because I'm not a effing idiot looking to spread this disease.

I'm not sure that the same could be said of you.

Fauci can legitimately be criticized, IMO, for not saying we were in for it in the face of idiotic statements by Trump that our fifteen cases would soon be down to zero. He might have got fired, but forcing Trump to deal with the pandemic sooner might have saved thousands of lives.

This could apply to other jobs where we need the services to continue.

When it looked like meat packers might need to protect their employees, Trump stepped in to make sure that meat packers don't have to give a damn.

When we need hospital staff, Trump refused to give a few million for refurbishing a machine that can pump out a milliion masks per day, and allowed FEMA to interdict deliveries of PPE to hospitals - leaving hospital workers exposed and with a reported 10% to 20% of COVID deaths coming from their ranks during April.

But, he managed to get money to hotels!!

Yeah, ordering them to stay open gave them carte blanche.
You have to wonder what or who was behind that outrage.
The virus has screwed his resort and hotel business.

And you’re too selfish to care. All these people bragging about second homes, money, free time, retirement, etc. but too self absorbed to put away enough food for a few months. Then moan about people not wearing a mask being selfish. It’s because of people like you grocery store employees will get sick and die. And you show how much you really care with your emojis. Sad.

Just pointing out reality. I see much worse here multiple times a day directed at those who want to get the economy going or don’t wear masks. Perhaps my absurdity will help you see the absurdity in all the other posts judging others and pretending to know their circumstances and motives.

Personally, I don’t care if you all go to the store. I do care when people pretend doing so isn’t selfish and doesn’t put people at risk. I believe we should all make our own decisions and let others make theirs. Hopefully everyone will think this moral superiority junior high rhetoric through more logically. That’s my intention,

How do you think WWII would have played out if everyone did that? Or the Spanish Flu?

Comparing this situation to regular life is absurd. You will ALWAYS come away disappointed and frustrated. When you compare an apple to an orange, that's inevitable.

Chaos ... which we get away with in the good times ... is the very last thing we need in an emergency.

Fauci is just one of many who are trying to do the right thing in an administration that is totally incapable of telling right from wrong. These people are on the edge Of kissing the kings ring while trying to strike a balance between Being a public servant and a Trump lackey .

Didn't make stuff up....it was the WHO who said the disease was non-transferrable. Dr. Fauci probably was right in there Lefty. Of course that won't effect your undying faith in either.
