WHO will be most damaged by the rioters? In the long run, the communities the rioters live in, of course. They just aren't smart enough to know it- but the consequences have already started: Smart people just won't put up with this kind of trash.

    Sunday, May 31st 2020

Closings announced late last week were 32 stores in the Minneapolis area. Following two more nights of riots now taking place in numerous cities, that list has been expanded to 175 stores across the country. Source: Target (TGT) press release

Yep and always will if Dem Party politicians continue to have their way about this stuff. Looting and arson and the resulting increase in muggings should be made federal crimes during rioting and anyone captured in the act does five years of hard time behind bars regardless of their skin tone or political ideology.

You are right about the alternate racial picture.
Perhaps more important, who and where will we be if we don't put a stop to it?
The rioters are the ones determining what choices are necessary, not the rest of society.

So race and racism don't exist? You can't open a discussion saying there is no racism and then go on to point out that it is racist to say there is. You will also notice that she is not blaming any specific group. She calls for justice, compassion and empathy; which of those should not be expected of all Americans? The point she is trying to make in my opinion, is that no one can control what others think and do, but everybody can control what they think and do and that is the place to start.

Pure bullshit. It’s a reaction to a system that places a foot on some of our citizens necks and our failure to address it. Nothing more. Nothing less.

I never said racism doesn't exist, and it certainly does. But everything that happens to a person is not racism. When a black man is arrested for cause or fired for cause, it is not racism- but it will be portrayed that way by many. I agree and often state that each person is responsible for their own choices, and the consequences of those choices. Diverting by labeling those consequences racism- IS a form of racism.
Personal responsibility is a fundamental foundation for change.

That doesn't even deserve any kind of response. It's like the reaction to people looting stores and burning cars would be to shoot everyone on the street.
    Your priorities are totally skewed.

I am more ashamed of the cops in these cities that are not protecting businesses and citizens. That is really their main job: "To protect and to serve". I understand that is mostly the Mayor and the Governor in these situations, they bear their own responsibility. The police should never run from a fight and should never allow rioters to overrun parts of a city and burn it to the ground.

About race: ANTIFA crosses the lines of color and has one mission: Destroy. Anarchy. Injure and kill. They don't care what race, creed and color you are, they are out there to destroy and cause as much damage as they possibly can. The United States needs to hunt down these people, arrest them and throw them in prison. They are a domestic terrorist organization.

All of this, no longer should we tolerate people losing their businesses and people fleeing the streets of America due to domestic terrorists in this country.

I never said race and racism doesnt exist. There will always be racism.
Racism is not causing or lighting up this chaos. Since racism is not related to this issue then less racism can not fix it.

Just saw a news blurb that says President Trump is moving to rule that Antifa is a terrorist organization. Stay tuned. I hope this is real. Hope the send everyone of those sorry individuals to GITMO to stand military trial!

~ Most of us are disgusted with these thugs. However I think that it's about time the isolated "Beverly Hills Bunch" are included in the real world reality of radical leftist society. Stop destroying the inner city and "spread the hate" to where the big money that supports goofy socialist politics comes from. Hit the Jimmy Kimmel studio on Hollywood boulevard. Crash the audience of The View. Maybe they will rethink where their support goes in the future. [IMG] :rage:

From the wild Irish slums of the 19th century Eastern seaboard, to the riot-torn suburbs of Los Angeles, there is one unmistakable lesson in American history; a community that allows a large number of men to grow up in broken families, dominated by women, never acquiring any stable relationship to male authority, never acquiring any set of rational expectations about the future -- that community asks for and gets chaos. Crime, violence, unrest, disorder -- most particularly the furious, unrestrained lashing out at the whole social structure -- that is not only to be expected; it is very near to inevitable.

All that is necessary to express ones disapproval of stars, corporations or anything else- is to stop patronizing them.

Yup. The only reason racism exists today is because it keeps liberal politicians in office. They make absolutely sure that minorities feel victimized so they can keep offering them "solutions", mostly by demonizing conservatives. The vast majority of the country doesn't give a damn what race you are.

Of course racism is related to this issue, at least that is the perception of thousands of people in the streets. It is part of a growing number of unarmed blacks who have been killed with little or no reason. That however is not the problem the problem in their eyes is that there are many people who don't care and would just as soon dismiss it as not important (see Ahmaud Arbery or Trevor Martin). We need to face the issue. No one is expecting you or anyone else to say they are a racist, but to say racism isn't involved here doesn't help solve the problem.

Idea for personal thought: If this was happening to ______ (fill in any group you identify with) by _____ (fill in any group you don't identify with) would I feel differently.

That is their perception because their leaders drill it in their head that white people are responsible for their problems, instead of taking responsibility for it themselves.. It's all really pathetic.

There is no evidence of racism. You have a video of a white cop being brutal to a black man that's been pushed and hyped by the media and activists.

The reason why it was hyped past the local level is because the victim was black and the cop was white.

So this whole situation is based on a lie concocted by liberal motivations...the thirst for victimhood.

You are missing the point completely. If a large number of people believe that racists are responsible for lets say killing unarmed blacks the problem is not going to be solved by saying you folks are pathetic. It doesn't mean that you are a racist or that you killed any unarmed blacks it means that they believe that people who are racists do things like that. That is the perception that needs to addressed. We shouldn't be picking sides and making this a black vs white issue. Racists can come in all forms from all races therefore it makes sense to limit the discussion to those who display racist tendencies.

Aren't you really saying people's belief that racism is an issue is a lie shouldn't be addressed? How does that help solve the issue?
