not according to the ME report. The knee to his neck is a contributing factor. The move was illegally being used against a hand cuffed, immobile man stating he was having trouble breathing. That's murder 3.

You got me. Then how about this. I mean a .45 that’s lightweight and has a very low recoil is a must.

If that was the case this tragedy would have never happened.

That's why I pointed out that the Felony Murder Rule would not apply in this case in MN.
    And that's too bad IMO.

Listen to the words of Dr King, since you weren't around when he said them.

“Certain conditions continue to exist in our society, which must be condemned as vigorously as we condemn riots. But in the final analysis, a riot is the language of the unheard. And what is it that America has failed to hear? It has failed to hear that the plight of the Negro poor has worsened over the last few years. It has failed to hear that the promises of freedom and justice have not been met. And it has failed to hear that large segments of white society are more concerned about tranquility and the status quo than about justice, equality and humanity. And so in a real sense our nation’s summers of riots are caused by our nation’s winters of delay. And as long as America postpones justice, we stand in the position of having these recurrences of violence and riots over and over again. Social justice and progress are the absolute guarantors of riot prevention”- Dr. Martin Luther King[/QUOTE]
If only you and others in the left condemned all killings as vigorously as you do those of blacks

Can never fix an issue if you refuse to understand the underlying issues of an issue.

But hey, it's black people. Kneel on the back of their neck. Problem solved. Got it.

Not sorry one bit, because I know what is lawful and I know the reality of the street from nearly 2 decades of hard won experience. What do you do for a living?

    Sure they are.
Blacks commit more crimes per capita.

That statement indicates the being black is at least part of the problem.

Low income, uneducated, impoverished people commit more crime per capita than any other income group would be a more accurate statement.
And the color of skin is irrelevant.
You agree the color of skin is irrelevant, yes?

If skin color is irrelevant, then using skin color to describe a problem is misleading.

Incorrect, it does not at all indicate their skin tone is part of the problem. Perhaps that is a you thing. What it does do though is just point out the objective statistical facts. Whatever interpreting you are doing of that is all you lol.

and no, I dont think poverty is the only issue, whites make up the majority of impoverished people and don’t have the per capita crime rate of blacks even among the impoverished. I think single mother homes at a rate of like 75 percent or so is the issue that leads to a cultural issue. One all groups face, but currently the black community faces at a statistical anomaly of a rate.

    1. I think there is only the human race and multiple ethnicities. Humans are of the same origin.
    2. As one poster told me so, he has know interest in the problem of crimes.
    3. Without understanding the the underlying causes of why people commit crimes, we can never address them.
    4. I don't think we'll need Eugenics. At some future point, humans will find a way to make themselves near invincible with technological advances.

    Thanks for you thoughtful post.

The breakdown of the family is most certainly the biggest factor. It determines income, home stability, educational awareness. All the most important factors that determine how ones early development turns out.

Obama missed a massive opportunity not tackling this issue when he had the chance. Instead he pandered and made excuses and passed Blame. What a colossal waste.

    Yes, thank you.
As for wealthy black people not harassed, wasn't a black professor hauled to jail for trying to break into his own house a few years ago? They aren't harassed as much, but they still receive less than white treatment. IMO.

No matter who the human is, if basic needs aren't met, food, shelter, clothing. It can lead to issues. Needs, need to be met someway. Lack of needs being met, leads to disruptive behavior. Likely imbalances in body and brain that doesn't allow for clear thinking.

Redlining did some major major damage to black communities.

I am not sold on single parent households being the core of the issue.

You're not sold on it? If a daughter doesn't have her mother, do you think she'll have proper guidance? What about a boy's father? For every general success story like myself(Never saw my dad), there's literally millions who've fallen through the cracks.

While civil rights might not have been at their peak in 1960, American common humanity certainly was. That's why they were able to march in the first place. Now several scores of Americans just loot.

    The reality:

"Crump said two “outstanding” doctors — Michael Baden and Allecia Wilson — conducted the autopsy. Baden is the former chief medical examiner of New York City, who was hired to conduct an autopsy of Eric Garner, a black man who died in 2014 after New York police placed him in a chokehold and he pleaded that he could not breathe.

Baden also conducted an independent autopsy of Michael Brown, an 18-year-old shot by police in Ferguson, Missouri. He said Brown's autopsy, requested by the teen's family, didn’t reveal signs of a struggle, casting doubt on a claim by police that a struggle between Brown and the officer led to the shooting."

It’s absolutely the core issue, you aren’t wrong about core needs and what not but it’s absolutely the biggest factor whatsoever. Most people agreed until recently that the single largest contributor for a young man to go to jail was to grow up without a father. Now that’s been replaced with ridiculous accusations of racism being the factor. It may be A factor, almost certainly a small one, but it is certainly not THE factor.

How does single family households get addressed. Single family households are not going away.
    You can't force marriages.
What is missing in single family households that is in 2 parent households, besides the obvious, 1 parent.

IMO, whether 2 parents or 1 parent is in household, it matters most of the parents involvement in the kids life. And can basic needs be met. But from a parent, is love being given.

Also, an anecdote of a professor being harassed for whatever reason is not indicative of a larger issue.

For 8 minutes after he's been handcuffed, while the guy is pleading for breath?
