The SAD truth about RACISM.

US is actually the least racist Country in the world. When is the last time France, Germany, UK elected a black president? think about that, with only 13% blacks in population, we elected a black president.

The SAD truth is that the left and the media can't let racism go because they make money off the perception of racism. The media likes controversy for ratings and the left uses racism as a political weapon, to avoid having to even discuss policy. Call your opponents a racist and you can win power.

Let's talk about basic facts. Since the Michael Brown incident, 50% of those killed by cops have been white and only 26% black. Amazing isn't it? If you ever watched the media and listened to the left, you would think 99% of those killed are black and 1% white. Question - Why doesn't the media ever report or make a fuss when a white person gets killed by a cop? It doesn't SELL Ratings, that's why. Twice as many whites are killed by cops but that is never reported... Similarly, the left never mentions it as it is not politically rewarding.

Now, the 26% is higher than the 13% blacks make up of the total population but are crime rates the same? Blacks commit 50% of the murder in the US yet they are only 13% of the population, they are more likely to commit violent offenses. This to me explains the 26% vs 13%.

None of this is ever mentioned by the media, they make it sound like crime rates are the same and 90% of those shot are blacks. The media doesn't like discussing facts, facts are boring... and neither do politicians, they seek to profit/seek rewards by lying, agitating, inciting violent protests, for ratings and political capital. SAD.. but TRUE.

If you are a black person today who respects the law, works hard and holds himself accountable, the sky is the limit, you can even become president. If you disrespect cops, protest and loot, don't go to school, commit crimes and blame racism on all your failures, you will be a failure all your life.

 

Without phony complaints of racism, the Democratic Party would simply disappear.

And again, twice as many whites are killed by cops compared to blacks, many of the blacks shot are by black and latino cops. Add to this that blacks commit more violent offenses (proportionally) vs whites (meaning they should get in trouble with the cops more often), where is the racism?

Malarkey. I never heard one Republican complain about Obama's skin color. I heard a lot complain about his policy decisions.

It's true- with rare exception, it is your personal life choices and values that determine your success and happiness in life. IF you allow what others think to determine what you are and think of yourself, they own you, because you abdicated your personal duty to be responsible for yourself.

Genuine racism is long dead, things have been better than ever before in history for minorities of all colors. IF that process is left alone, things will continue to get better. When people try to make everything about racism- all they are really doing is promoting racism, and that is usually for personal or political reasons.

 

You cannot compare black population percentage to the percentage killed by cops. This is not a measure of how often there is interaction with police. In order to draw a CORRECT conclusion, you would need to compare the crime rate to the percentage killed by police, as crime rate is what shows how much interaction occurs. The greater number of instances, the greater the odds of someone being killed by police.

I just saw a video of a young black man pulled over for running a stop sign. Four cop cars and cops with guns drawn. His 90year old gamma threw herself on him to prevent him from getting shot.
I have been pulled over for that same infraction.
Never once did I fear for my life from that SINGLE cop who cordially issued me a warning
Of course I’m white so...

 

You can't legislate beliefs and opinions. You see from the writing on this forum that they are very very hard to change. It is human nature.

why hasn’t the media reported the killing of all those whites by cops even though that # is twice as high as blacks killed by cops? Why are you only scouring the internet for black vs white incidents? You are just like those who are obsessed with racism, you see racism everywhere, if you see people drinking from a white cup or wearing a white hat, you probably see racism.

I agree with everything that you have said other than the notion of ratings driving the media's behavior, at least over the long haul ( I am not referring specifically to the riots which ARE at least in part due to ratings). While attributing everything corporate to profits/ratings is wholly logical and applicable in 99.99% of situations, for whatever reason, it does not apply to the political spectrum. When it comes to mainstream media, the right basically has Fox news, a few talk radio shows, and kind of sort of maybe the Wall Street Journal. Virtually everything else belongs to the left. This country is basically split 50/50. With that being the backdrop, the under served market is CLEARLY the right side of the spectrum. There is a reason that Fox News dominates so thoroughly in the ratings. It is because they are the only option on television the 50% on the right side of the spectrum can go in order to see news presented from their perspective. For all other TV stations, the left viewership is split between every other option that presents the news from the left's perspective.

They are not chasing ratings. They are serving as the marketing arm of the DNC. If they were chasing ratings, they would migrate toward the under served market. They are doing no such thing. Not even slightly.

To deny there have been millions of black Americans who respect the law, work hard and holds themselves accountable is pure racism.

 

who has denied that? There are many and those are mostly successful, every bit as successful as white people. I would argue if you are a minority and educated, work hard, respect the law and hold yourself accountable, you actually have It easier than white people, all of it held constant. All across the country, in corporate america and educational system, affirmative action and diversity goals make it easier for minorities.. the proof is everywhere.

the ones who break the law, don’t get an education, blame racism for all their failures are usually the loud minority you see causing trouble, rioting and hating on cops, whites. Unfortunately, the blacks who do well are silent and have better things to do, sadly, we don’t hear from them.
