Again. What did you expect the president to do in January when no deaths were occurring and through most of Feb? Considering Sweden barely shut down at all and has a similar death rate as countries that did, on what basis would it have been logical AT THAT TIME to destroy our economy a month earlier?

There were deaths in other countries because it was killing people in those countries. The president acts on the advice of experts. There is NO EVIDENCE any agency or experts advised to shut down. If Trump did he would have been labeled Hitler, racist, fascist and a dictator and you know it. So stop. Just stop already.

Go back to figuring out a way to blame the riots on him. That’s a better use if your energy.

 

What makes sense is this admission by McConnell that he lied about saying the Obama administration did nothing in preparing the Trump administration about pandemics. This outlines completely, the failings of the Trump administration. It starts with the admission of the Fox News, McConnell lie when commenting on the Obama criticism of the conduct of the Trump admin during the pandemic. Why ? Because Trump ( and the gop) just doesn’t care.

 

He’s incompetent.....this illustrates it. He doesn’t care about the country, just himself. And, mcConnell and Fox lie about to to preserve power....not too preserve the truth .

The gop in general has become a party that doesn’t believe in public service. At some point while Faux News was spoon feeding Republicans this trash, they became convinced that it’s OK not to pay taxes but still expect the govt to go into debt when they personally, mostly white guys, were the least bit inconvenienced.


Really, every republican runs for office on the promise they will cut your taxes, and increase spending, but not on you, but on the donors dependent on govt contracts. The citizen can go freak himself.

1) On the basis that you would now be virtually free of the virus if you had, and would likely be seeing a lot less of the awful fallout you're now seeing.

2) With respect, that's ridiculous. American leadership had the same information that First Movers had, at the same time. All advice, around the world, was to lock-down hard and early. Some nations chose to go with that advice, and some didn't. It was never a case of 'we can't', when even poor developing nations have done it.

 

Governors have little control over federally controlled air traffic with infected Europeans they never told Cuomo about . . Maybe you never heard of the FAA.

Trump KNEW what could and should be done, he was told several times and he didn't CARE. The deaths of even millions of people didn't matter to him and he said so several times when the pandemic was beginning

The ONLY pro-active thing Trump did was the Travel ban, and that was done FAR too late and wouldn't have worked very well even if it was done in time

ALL Trump wants to do is bash people. If someone was laying on the ground and bleeding to death from an easily staunched wound Trump would let them die in favor of beating up their assailant

 

Useless CUCK Brian Tyler Cohen uses "LIED" in the video title, but says that McConnell was "wrong" in the video! There's a difference! So, we don't know that it was a lie!

Either Trump intentionally disregarded the pandemic plan, or he is incompetent and didn’t care. He was instructed by the cdc on the matter early on and did nothing but say China was doing a great job and the conservative story line was Obama did not leave him any Plan along with a briefing. He did, cutting that whole office required Presidential authorization. Trump knew he was placing the lives of possibly millions at risk but he thought the public wouldn't notice, or that he'd be able to just gloss over it by blaming it on someone else.
