It's Happened: The Political Correctness Mob Has Targeted The Masters Golf Tournament

It's going too far.

If you read the story, you'll see this: And be honest. When you hear anyone say the Masters, you think of slave masters in the South. There’s nothing else, nothing special. You don’t think of someone mastering the game of golf. When has anyone mastered golf?

Does anyone think of slave masters in the south when discussing a golf tournament? When will the SJWs cancel everything African, because if was from there that Africans captured and sold other Africans into slavery. All African studies courses should be cancelled and any art that came from countries which captured and sold slaves should be smashed and destroyed. Why would anyone want to have art in their house that was made from slave traders?

And then there's this problem that needs to be solved.

The tournament was named the Masters by Bobby Jones, its founder, because it is an invitation only tournament and is restricted to masters of the game. I has been won by black golfers by the way.

 

These morons need to be told "NO" capitulation only emboldens them and there is no rational end or boundry.

 

Notice there is no reference to who was calling for it (person or group) other than Matt Vespa the author. I think that this might be tongue in cheek.

Ok doing away with the Master tournament becausevof a slavery connotation is high stupidity.Yet how many advocates of such stupidity are there? There cannot be many. Stuff like that needs to be laughed at and ridiculed.

Trump was correct when he prophesied that it would not end with confederate statues only, that George Washington and Abraham Lincoln would become targets of hate.

 

Tiger Woods brought a new excitement to the game. And with it, new fans and people who started to play. The criticisms from other players, fans of the game and media were inspired by his unprofessional and disrespectful displays. Now back, he's more mature and respectful, and the media and fans have welcomed him back.

As for the name of the tournament, if it truly offends people - it should be changed. But until I see legitimate outrage, I think I'll just consider it more BS from Vespa.

But where does it end? If we should change the names of things just because there are some people that are "offended" by it then where does it end? Ok, so the name gets changed. Then there could be people "offended" by the new name. So do we change it again and again and again? The Masters tournament has nothing to do with anything remotely close to slavery. Yet here we are with people trying to equate it with slavery and therefore pushing to change the name. Sadly the PGA will likely cave and change it. I hope I'm wrong but the way things are going I would be shocked if it's not changed.
