Well the award for most outstanding display of compassion and concern for your fellow man goes to:-

    https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-53190429

How many people will be affected by this? I understand there is special funding to pay for Coronavirus cases but I do wonder if that would pay all the bills incurred

very very poor timing and just another indicator that Disinfectant Donald does not believe there is a pandemic

Trump's other offensive against Obamacare in the midst of a global pandemic proves how out of touch this administration is and has no empathy for the people.

Obamacare. the single worst piece of legislation ever forced upon the American people. Only those with an 8th grade or higher level of comprehension can understand that. They said we had a problem of 33 million uninsureds, so Obamacare came along to save us, 10 years later we have 40 million uninsureds and 80 million underinsureds, at 3x the premiums, 3x the out of pockets, but SUCCESS is how democrats rate it. Huh?

Even if the intent is to improve Obamacare and make it “better” this must end with causing a lot of people to become deeply concerned

I am glad you said 10 years later since that does put the current failure fear in Trumps lap

In midst of a pandemic, high unemployment & 100K+ Americans dead & the Trump administration is still trying to strip Americans of their healthcare. It’s almost like they want to lose in November.

Trump just handed another hot button topic over to Biden, if I am not mistaken Trump took it on the chin in 2018 over the issue of health care, and now this?

Trump certainly took it somewhere, but the chin was not the primary target...

If Trump could provide some semblance of a replacement, he might have a chance... He doesn't have a clue...

Hey, where is Trump's plan that was supposed to be the greatest ever and cover everyone? Four years later and we are still waiting.

There are 22 million people who have insurance through the Affordable Care Act.

84% of which are subsidized in part or in full.

That means 18,480,000 people are getting something they aren't paying for, on the backs of everybody else, who are paying for their own insurance.

Trump never had a plan. Not for health care or anything else.

Even without the crisis we are going through, Biden's chances against Trump would have been excellent because health care is the priority of 70% of Americans and the Republicans only want to defend a system that promotes inequality.

ACA created record profits for the pharm industry and Americans are sicker than ever. Results show that the ACA and compassion have no connection. This is a good move.

Right, nothing says "I'm For America" like opposing something called Affordable Care....

But, the cruelty IS the point....

Sorry, but you can't claim to care about public health and support ACA. Most of our illness is the result of the Standard American Diet. (SAD) Most of that is subsidized. Once symptoms show, pharm products are prescribed to mask symptoms so that the patient can comfortably continue their habits. When side effects shoe up, more pharm products are prescribed. (And repeat)

Results speak for themselves. In spite of record spending on "health care", and record profits for pharm companies, Americans are fatter and sicker than ever.

Those concerned about cruelty would focus on removing subsidies for what is making people sick in the first place. Neither party will bite the hand that elects them.

the socialist health care industry is not 'compassion', its leaders worked with china to bring the pandemic.

President Trump is defending Americans from all forms of terrorism.

Obamacare: Trump asks Supreme Court to invalidate Affordable Care Act

I'm sure Legislator for Life John Roberts and the Lefties on the court will keep FullRetardCare alive. They've ignored the language in the law twice to uphold it and there's no reason to believe they'll strike it down now.

I think the affordable Care act was probably one of the reasons why people voted for Trump. Majority of the country didn't want it, it has turned out to be a disaster, the price of peoples insurance skyrocketed.

I think this sort of thing will look good on Donald Trump. At least among his voters and that's who elected him.

The ACA is way more popular than trump. Especially protections for people with pre-existing conditions.
