There have been 10, yes 10. In US history. That hardly is representative of 13% of the population.

That has been done, for the most part.

The problem is, not all those who were brought up in the system are out of the system. So there are skirting of issues.

I know, my phone kept changing the word.

I propose what has been done. AA. Civil rights movement.
The problem is, it takes generations to completely rid itself. As people don't change or don't change easily or quicklly.

NASCAR just in the last few weeks is looking to end the inherent racism of the sport. Removing Confederate flags.

There are all sorts of idolizing of the civil war and the fight to own black people still around as reminders of racism.
Those things need to be out of public view and in history books and museums.

What system do they have power and control over?
    Police?
    Courts?
    Congress?

Slave war ended in mid 1860s.
Civil rights happened in the 1960s.
How long do you think they should wait?

The 1960s to today is about 3 generations.
I guess that wasn't long enough.

Redlining as policy ended in 1968.

By https://www.thoughtco.com/redlining...t,out and have continued even in recent years.
    Beatrix Lockwood
    Updated June 16, 2020
Redlining, a process by which banks and other institutions refuse to offer mortgages or offer worse rates to customers in certain neighborhoods based on their racial and ethnic composition, is one of the clearest examples of institutionalized racism in the history of the United States. Although the practice was formally outlawed in 1968 with the passage of the Fair Housing Act, it continues in various forms to this day.
    ...
A 2008 paper about predatory lending, for example, found denial rates for loans to black people in Mississippi to be disproportionate compared to any racial discrepancy in credit score history.
    ...

But when did the practice actually end. Or is it still ongoing today. Covertly.

The media, local governments across the country. Corporations and governments are collapsing so readily to their demands that it is embarrassing.

They're a bunch of opportunists who are using the deaths of certain black people to further their anti American agenda.

Well, its' been 150+ yrs since slavery ended.
It' been over 50 yrs since the civil rights movement. It's about time corps and gov'ts listen to them instead of redlining them.

At least those who don't want to keep them in poverty forever are now paying attention. You want them in poverty forever?

    Redlining
    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A 1936 HOLC "residential security" map of Philadelphia, classifying various neighborhoods by estimated riskiness of mortgage loans.[1]
In the United States, redlining is the systematic denial of various services by federal government agencies, local governments as well as the private sector either directly or through the selective raising of prices.[2][3] Neighborhoods with high proportion of minority residents are more likely to be redlined than other neighborhoods with similar household incomes, housing age and type, and other determinants of risk, but different racial composition
    ...

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Redlining

Went on until the 1970s in legal terms. But really went on until near 2000s and likely exists in places yet today.

Just because the signs of whites only drinking fountains don't exist anymore, doesn't mean those who think like that are dead.

It takes generations. We have a long way to go.
Even if redlining is completely eradicated, it will take decades to undo the harm it caused.

The question is strange -- the first and last choices are basically the same.

    1) African Americans are in a better shape to judge the value of BLM. Jews are in a better shape to judge Israel or internal issues of Jewish communities.

    2) America's Founding Fathers were both heroes and villains. They founded America, but they sustained Slavery.

    3) Empress Catherine the Great had a similar legacy -- she strengthened Russia, but she also strengthened Serfdom.

Well BLM is mostly a money laundering organization on the big picture scale. In the individual scale it's a communist group. So many of these groups based on characteristics are.
