    ~ Eh come on ... One droplet never hurt anyone. Except - if you are a surgeon standing over an open wound . Hence the name 'Surgical Mask '.
    Now the bandana we are encouraged to wear are a very nice breeding ground for bacteria. Hey - why not make yourself sick ? Don't wait for Wuhan to strike - just do it yourself. Ever hear the experts warn us to wash & wear our mask ?
    I worry more about the next doozy China has in store for us. That will likely kill us all !

    Have you ever considered that maybe just maybe wearing a mask might give you insight into what it is like to wear full PPE for a 12 hour shift with hardly a break to pee?


    Mind you if you really want to feel what it is like make sure that mask is VERY tightly fitting and the cut a hole in a large plastic bag drape that around yourself including wrapping your arms in plastic and putting on gloves then to get the equivalent amount of energy expenditure the average nurse has to do in one shift chase a three year old around a house for 12 hours.

    if you can get through all of that you have a right to complain

    Yeh, who do you think you are, the President?

    The mask is pretty ineffectual at protecting you from us, but it's meant to protect us from you. It's not totally effectual even there but it cuts the force of coughs, which is the main way aerosols are spread

    Can the nursing staff at your local hospital protest your reckless behaviour and refuse to treat you? No, they will not They will don not only a mask but a hot muggy plastic gown, a surgical hat goggles/face shield and gloves and stay in that outfit for hours whilst they attend your cares

    Your "alternative theory" FAILS because the DATES of the BLM marches don't align with the current spike in TX Covid cases but they DO align with reopening the economy and Memorial Day where everyone was acting as if there was no longer a Pandemic.

    George Floyd died on Memorial Day. Protests started the day after. You are correct. 10's of 1000's of people started acting like there was no longer a pandemic.

    The 25th was Memorial Day and the earliest BLM protests in TX about Floyd only began on the 29th and did not get into full swing until early June.

    Protests occurred In Milwaukee,Detroit,Philly, NYC...and yet the huge spikes are in California,Georgia,Arizona,Texas,Florida...states that "opened up" with no concern for the virus

    Actually they are obeying Dem Party orders to act-up like spoiled little children just before the start of the convention so to artificially force the nation's attention on the faux issue of racism. Note that it only happened at the three and a half year mark into Trump's presidency after everything else the Dem Party's leadership tried to destroy him, blew up in their faces.

    People have noticed both the timing and how well trained the Molotov cocktail and looting rioters have been. Practice makes perfect and the semi-professional thugs got PLENTY of that during Barack Obama's race-agitating presidency.

    Bars weren't simultaneously open at the time of the protests in the northern states. They also are not states where migrants flood American emergency rooms for they main source of health care, as has happened before the virus, and now during the virus.
