    others have pointed out your logic error let me also point out that this meme appears to be some weeks old as since then the number of deaths has risen by at least 30,000. In a couple of weeks time it will be even higher ar the current number of infected and hospitalised succumb

    You can use the entire population as a comparison of the chance of dying from CoVid. Geez it’s not difficult..your chance to die is a auto accident is not determined based on the number of people who get in auto accidents.

    It was mostly because it was untested. It is not a cure for COVID and must be used in conjunction with other medications.

    The mortality rate is determined by using the total number infected, not the total population. It is difficult to determine how many were infected, but experts estimate its about 20 million. And lets say the entire population does become infected and the mortality rate is just .3%. That is 1 million deaths.

    Also, the coronavirus has been proven to mutate and immunity looks like it lasts for just a few months. Some people have already gotten re-infected with the virus. So if the virus didn't get you the first time, it'll have a second try.

    I'm going to re-post MrTLegal here:
    1) The study was not double blind.
    2) Those treated were also given a steroid that has actually been confirmed, via a double blind study, to work against covid-19.
    3) There are still multiple other studies, including double blind studies, which found no benefit and increased harm from using the drug.

    If the entire population was infected, then testing would have shown that very clearly and we should have seen a dramatic decline in new cases but that obviously didn't happen. Experts estimate that the official cases underestimate the real number by a factor of up to 10 because many have mild or no symptoms. But even that gets us 26 million not 330 million.

    Not that smoking is good, but a basic theory might be that the smoke/residue that lies in the lungs might be blocking the receptors. To me, a potential vaccine would probably be one that blocks the receptors from even being able to attach in the first place.

    smoking can be good or bad, too much is bad, just like getting too much sun is bad... but agree, they need to do more research on this as it could be a valid treatment option or lead to one
