    From Reagan on forward, every Republican presidency has driven our economy deeper into debt, which is quite the opposite of what they preach when they run for office. HYPOCRITES!

    It gets stamped by the date the copy was made. That is what makes it official. Looks like you probably never ordered a copy of your BC, have you?

    And did you happen to notice the date WAS YEARS after his first run? The claim was he released it before he ran, or did you read that part?

    There is NO requirement to produce your BC to run for any public office.

    A federal judge in Pennsylvania this week threw out a lawsuit that challenged Barack Obama’s eligibility for the presidency by claiming he’s not a U.S. citizen. A California judge tossed out a similar lawsuit in September, after a member of the state’s American Independent Party claimed John McCain was not a “natural-born citizen.” Do presidential candidates have to prove their eligibility for office before they get on the ballot?

    No. Ballot access rules vary by state, but in general, you don’t have to prove eligibility unless someone challenges it. Article II of the U.S. Constitution requires that a presidential candidate be a “natural born citizen”—in other words, a citizen born in this country or, according to traditional interpretation, born to U.S. citizens overseas (as opposed to a naturalized citizen born overseas). * You also have to be at least 35 and have lived in the U.S. for at least 14 years. But none of the 50 states asks for birth certificates or long-term residency documents to prove that a candidate qualifies for a spot on the ballot. (Obama released a copy of his birth certificate, anyway.)    ​

    That's not the issue he and I were debating. If you are going to interject yourself with your typical snide remarks, at least keep up with what the claim was. The claim was Obama released his BC before he ran. Now either prove that or just keep obfuscating and taking petty pot shots. I'm growing bored here.

    There's no qualifiers or pre-conditions. You are WRONG! And you just got caught doing it. Get a subscription to Netflix to deal with your "boredom", because you're only painting yourself into a corner.

    Proble is the date on the bottom of it is 2011. Obama made it an issue when no one could find it. We are still not sure if this one is the actual both certificate or something that was forged by the state of Hawaii

    • Reagan's presidency created the recession that HW Bush inherited.
    • HW Bush is the one who said "no new taxes", and then broke his promise.
    • Clinton left the presidency with a surplus.
    • George W Bush started the war with Iran and also lowered taxes and the economic mess that exploded with the 2008 Recession.
    • Obama had to clean up after Bush.
    • And now Trump just repeated handing out tax breaks for the wealthy, and also mismanaged the pandemic which we will be paying for for decades.

    You are funny, I was talking to another poster who claimed he released it BEFORE he ran....do i need to make that larger? CLAIMED OBAMA RELEASED HIS BC BEFORE HE RAN, to which I then asked him for a link, then you interjected yourself with your typical snide remarks and you post a PDF file of his BC dated several years AFTER he first ran. Now you attempt to jump to another post and try to change what you were jumping in. Try going back and reading and prove that claim.

    No "every President has not"....
    Before Trump's election, every elected president from Richard Nixon onward has released their tax returns annually. While president, Nixon himself released his tax returns despite them being under audit. Also, all major presidential nominees from 1976 onward released their tax returns.
