You are taking great comfort in early July polls, when on OCTOBER 1, it was Hillary 46, Trump 36. Hillary ended at 47, so polls were finding her voters, but Trump topped 47, meaning that they missed nearly 24% of Trump's voters.

This happened all through the 2016 election, polls consistently failed to register Trump's voters, he won consistently for nearly a year before taking the General Election with the polling outfits consistently saying he couldn't win primaries, then that he couldn't win the nomination and finally that he couldn't win the election. Now the pollsters are saying he can't win re-election and you're saying "I find that convincing!" Why?

Remember, Hillary actually had a brain, she fell a lot, coughed a lot, her eyes rolled around in her head like marbles, but she could consistently finish a sentence. You don't have that with Biden. He can't even conceal that they are planting the questions and telling him to call on, and in what order. Trump needs none of that. He can walk, talk, he knows what he thinks and he can take unscripted questions for hours. And, he hasn't started any new wars.

Trump took late deciders nearly 2/1 in the critical states, and that was while no one had any idea if he could actually do the job. Well, he obviously can, and he is surprisingly measured on war policy. That's a big big deal. I wouldn't be surprised if the draw-down in Afghanistan and Iraq were completed during the fall campaign, meaning that the US would finally be at peace for the first time since 9/11/2001. For many new voters, it will be the first time in their entire lives that we're at peace. That's going to be a powerful visceral moment, not just for them, but for the entire nation.
