Defund Academia

The greatest systemic enemy of American ideology is Progressivism. And no institution is more steeped and infested with proselytizing progressives than academia.

The American education system USED to be the best in the world, but it has been corrupted by anti-American, anti-human ideologues until now it is only the Indoctrination arm of Progressivism.

Inner city schools are the worst, surrendering completely any goals of literacy, history, and critical thinking. The 3 R's have become Robbery, Rape, and Racism. Basic literacy is ignored, but the students can parrot all the progressive tenets of faith:

• Global Warming!
• Socialism is cool!
• America is evil!
• Godless Naturalism!
• White People Bad!
• Drugs are Great!
• Moral Relativity!
• Educated People are Superior!
• Groupthink loyalty! Safe Space in progressive echo chambers!

Year after year, for decades, these institutions of Indoctrination have produced hordes of progressive indoctrinees, nodding in unison like bobbleheads, at the pontifications that the High Priests of Progressivism decree.

They are DIRECTLY responsible for the current breakdown of the culture: riots, looting, destruction of monuments, race baiting, identity politics, and division that is so prevalent America at this time. It is a deadly poison, sowing discord and division among Americans, and is an internal enemy to the principles of American liberty and the constitutional republic.

What can be done?

1. Recognize the Enemy. This is not some benign difference of opinion, or a different flavor of American culture, but is fundamentally at enmity with the basic principles of the American Experiment. They envision a marxist based collectivist fantasy, not anything resembling America. Black lives matter is a repackaged black panthers, with the same marxists and anarchists promoting violence and destruction. They want to destroy America, not preserve it. They are violent racists, masquerading as civil rights activists.

2. Defund academia. This is the only way. As long as we pay them to deceive us and our children, they will continue to do so. Anti-American, revolutionary ideologues will have to be eradicated from the teaching pool, and without public funding it will wither.

3. Standardize curricula. Demand a level of ability in basic education and literacy, and defund the religious Indoctrination from ideologues, ESPECIALLY those hostile to American principles of freedom. Include civics and history (the real kind, not the revised distortions from deceivers).

4. Arrest insurrectionists and traitors, who promote an anti-American political agenda. Treason is a crime. Why should it go unchecked, in our public institutions?

Do we wish to preserve this Experiment in Freedom and self rule, or morph into some socialist hell hole, with tyrants and elites dictating our every thought and action?

There has not been a more distinct choice, in the election of 2020 since 1860. America, or tear it down for some collectivist fantasy. Reason, or submit to decrees. Equality or elitism. Lawlessness or social Order. Enlightenment or the dark ages.

This is not a time for silence and passivity. Rise and fight! Enemies have overrun us! The precious gift of American Freedom is not a constant theme in the history of humanity. It must be fought for, defended, and preserved in every generation.

The USA is a democracy.

 

No, it is a Constitutional Republic.

If you want to destroy the American Experiment, do it the old fashioned way, with revolution. You can then insert whatever socialist fantasy you wish, and revise history so that the dream of America is forgotten.

 

The irony is that the anti-American progressives, who hate the police, law, and equal treatment , would install a police State, with their ideological jack boots enforcing and mandating conformity to the madness and folly of Progressivism.

Watch as they clown around saying that academics are brainwashing youth, despite the fact that academics need freedom of speech to communicate ideas effectively in an academic environment! Watch as the responses go “but our youth need a standardized education to make sure they can compete, they need to be taught the facts!”. Of course this is a blatantly terrible idea in of itself, but don’t let the clown noses fool you! After all, isn’t that just censorship by another name that can infringe on various schools of thought? How do you standardize ideas, when there are lots already ignored in the US higher education system? Watch the clowns as they justify ignoring neocolonialism, despite it being a serious idea that influences lots of governments to this day. Watch as they don’t understand the academic process and instead decide to decry “elites controlling our education”! When in actuality it’s the fact they don’t get how education works in the first place and why less control is needed in academia to give professors more space to talk and freely discuss ideas. Don’t worry, you’ll still get your standardization via academic journals folks! Because if you’re not going to pay your professors the wages they deserve, they’re going to have to write in academic journals to advance their career, despite this leading to fewer women and minority ideas being shared which are needed to advance science.

I doubt you would enjoy the results, if your dream of a collectivist fantasy were realized, and the Experiment in Freedom ended..

My ideology says there are people in society who are considered voiceless and we should talk about those people and bring light to their experiences. Your ideology? Sell it somewhere else, dude. America's college system has produced the minds that power the American Experiment. Computer scientist, Business Professionals, Doctors, Nurses ... millions of high producing employees and business owners have come from the halls of American colleges and school systems. You try to judge the many off the actions of the few.

Hell, the very internet you are communicating with was born in labs of the "communist" California University system, in conjunction with Federal research money. Hundreds of billions of dollars have been generated by research partnerships between the government and Universities around the country. Huge advances in medicine and computer science are the result of
those partnerships. And you want to end it all because of a few weeks of protests? WTF.

Hardly a dime's worth of difference between what the OP is advocating and what actually happened in the past.

Yes, the progressive hijacking of the American education system is very similar to the exclusive Indoctrination from socialist and totalitarian systems of the last century, and even now, in many places.
