    Hmm.

Is that creepy or something else?

    Violently disturbing perhaps.

People may need to review their understanding of what creepiness is objectively agreed to be, and how its subjective application functions.

    Trumpet?

I've actually gotta go with the mega-creepy smirk.

What do you find objectively creepy about Nick Sandmann? I trust that you analyzed your thoughts before posting.

Look at the lefties continuing to slander a child because how dare he wear a hate of a political campaign they disagree with.

    Extremism is ugly.

Shouldn't be. Hope not. Because it would be an attack on the rule of law.

Nothing - it's not an objective matter in terms of personal observation/reaction, as noted.

However, as many (including me) have felt/observed, he has the smirk of a serial killer - reminiscent of the mask worn by the lead sociopath in The Purge.

    VERY creepy.

As far as analyzing one's thoughts, this thread is fascinating in that conservatives have chosen to place a large number of eggs in a very creepy basket, and are arguing two logically unsalvageable points:

    1) That the subjective (and in this case, widespread and non-partisan) appraisal of creepiness (while based in wider objective criteria) is other than this

    2) That the creepy kid has won a large settlement

Fascinating, tragic and bizarre, and there seem to be more than a few who may wish to logically re-appraise their own thinking.

    :)

Are lefties doing this? There are maybe 3 or 4 on this site, and none have participated in this thread in the manner you describe, in part because it would be impossible.

Indeed, and in this instance, highly illogical.

    :)

The smirk of a serial killer? Well, I guess time will tell. Considering the context of the situation though, I read the "smirk" as the outward expression of someone who is dying inside over the absurdity of what they're experiencing, yet know that they're being trolled for reaction, but refuses to be aggressive or submissive. I'm no expert, but I'd wager that his response is much closer to what I perceive as opposed to being some indication of psychopathy. What the left leaning media did though (along with individuals cheering them on), that's on the verge of sociopathic.

I don't necessarily concur with all of your appraisal, but find it compelling in some ways, and as thoughtful as the thoughtfulness you'd requested. :)

I think the liberal insanity around Trump & his hats is real, but is this case, everything was incidental in relation to the chilling smirk, whatever its underlying cause/s.

He also won 275 million earlier this year. And settled with the NYT for an undisclosed amount.

Doing well for a high school kid. :)

    What about CNN's anonymous sources?

DxZyIkdXQAIrzTf.jpg ~ The teeth of Nick Sandmann. Kind of creepy - the smirk is better . However the settlement includes a dental allowance.
    { The "native" guy turned out to be a total fake. Even his drum chant was copied from Ringo Starr's bass drum pattern on `Day Tripper ´ }

Of course he looks creepy. An awkward teenager being targetted by a veteren political activist provacateur is not going to stand his ground while looking normal. But he did stand his ground.

    And now he's a multimillionaire.

It is a blow to American journalism that a prominent newspaper would have been so flagrant in its behavior to have lost a case like this. It is very hard to win against journalists this way, as it should be. It is reprehensible that journalists misuse their place in social discourse. Hopefully, the profession will take note.

You misunderstood my post; perhaps if you read it again and consider the hundreds of other posts I've made on the subject of the MSM, it will become clearer to you. :)

You think there are only 3 to 4 people on this left on this forum?

    Ba Hashanah.

What I think you are referring to is extremist radical progressives. The fringe element.

In any case. You mad because he is getting vindicated and you don't like his political views. Sorry 'bout that.

We are arguing illogical points when the crux of your entire thread is, you don't like the way he smiles?
