    I'd forgotten.

    The historian Jon Meecham reminded me, that's anti-Catholic bigotry. When JFK was running for president, there were those that opposed him because he was Catholic. A saying back then was "A Catholic can never become president."

    Let me give you a hint, mostly it wasn't Democrats saying that.

    You see, Dems don't have to invent things to say about Trump, the way the Cult has to distort the obvious to invent things to say about Biden. Trump covers pretty much the entire spectrum of American bigotry, and he doesn't even try to hide it.

    1) Yes, they did. I never dreamed anti-Catholic bigotry would be an issue again, but there it is.

    2) He didn't cross party lines. He ran to the Right of Nixon on foreign policy, but not on domestic issues. This is something people that don't study history will never get. I can tell you why he won. He got Eleanor's support, and he got that by promising to protect the little guy.

    "Take away your guns, take away your Second Amendment. No religion, no anything," Trump said, standing behind a podium with the presidential seal. "Hurt the Bible. Hurt God. He’s against God. He’s against guns. He’s against energy."

    That's from a person who uses the bible as a political tool. If you'd ask him to cite a passage, he probably wouldn't be able to come up with anything. I have no idea how Christians can buy his snake oil.
