He likes to pretend to be independent, it’s 100% coincidence he always seems to chime in to defend republicans and bash dems.

I did not create Trump, Trump created himself, blaming others for Trump, please !!!!!

I expect all federal politicians to be open with their income, it helps with transparency. I would think you would understand that instead of blaming the public for Trump's indiscrections.

He was weaseling out of showing them in a way that tells me he was hiding something. The lie was obvious from the outset since it was debunked right away that an IRS audit would prevent someone from releasing their returns. It is fascinating to me that his support was so fervent so early on, though, that even then the masses who supported him did not hold him to account on the issue. They just chose to focus on Hillary instead.

It's an interesting case study in human psychology, in the end.

Its pretty obvious there is stuff in Trump's tax forms he desperately doesn't want people to know. We need to find out what that is.

The irony is that NOBODY would care about that either, IF he had done that and reported it.... After Grab em by the p*ssy, a simple 1 nighter with a porn star would have rolled off of his evangelical base like Niagara Falls.

However, he didn't use formal campaign money.

He got Cohen to do it for him off book, then paid him back after the election.

Then when Cohen named Individual 1, it turned out the DOJ wouldn't indict Individual 1....

Isn’t it? I think that the reassuring point is not how many have become ardent fans of trump but how many have seen the reality

Sadly if you look into Trump legal history (and there are some three thousand court cases he has been involved in over the years) This is what he does - use the court system to delay until, usually, the opponent runs out of money

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legal_affairs_of_Donald_Trump
It was a strategy taught by and championed by that known paedophile and Mob lawyer and bestie to Donnie - Roy Cohn

Yep, that's a silver lining through all of this. The availability of education and information today is ensuring that a person like Trump can't cause the kind of social problems that men like him did in the past. Trump is showing us what would happen if Hitler or Mussolini had been plucked from the past and dropped into present-day USA. We are better than that, even if he can still find a following and cause some damage.

They have no legal obligation, and I feel it is best to do it for the public's trust.

Your question should be a fallacy, but unfortunately you unintentionally hit my point. Those being investigated should not be considered criminals unless the investigation concludes in a conviction. There does not need to be a crime for an investigation to create one.

Since we will never know who the wrong person it until they get into office and abuse their power, we must limit power to an absolute minimum. Allowing our justice system and the IRS to be used as political weapons does the opposite.

There are more laws on the books than you can read in a lifetime. The average American commits 2 felonies a day without even knowing it. We already incarcerate more of our population and any other country.

At worst, you get Trump another 4 years. The abuse of power you support will be there forever.

I tell you what then...why don't you get your party leaders to release theirs first, before you start going after the other party?

Not everyone who opposes government overreach and abuse of power is a Trump supporter. I did not, and will not vote for Trump.

Companies get involved in lawsuits all the time, in particualr those dealing with real estate development and leasing...no real surprise. Not that many personal cases though.

I didn't know Roy Cohn was a padophile.....I knew he was gay...I hope you don't think gay people molest children. I am sure he represented mobsters too...the mob was big in NYC when he was active....they deserve representation too.....

I'm still trying to find out what is the purpose of subpoenaing his tax returns. What is the probable cause of crime he committed, what crime. Agreeing to pay something to not disclose something embarrassing is NOT a crime and the FEC said it is not a campaign violation. So what is it?

I don't think they should....but I do think that if you are for it then you should be asking for leaders of your party to do it first....and I have yet to see a thread where you or anyone is asking for Nancy P's

He discloses who he did business with in the financial disclosure before he ran and files one every year. What about the privacy of those he did business with?

What was the crime in her non-disclosure agreement? Cohen may have committed a crime in the way in which HE reported it in HIS filings but Trump had nothing to do with that.

One of the reasons I loathe Trump is that he has rareoy been held to account for anything
