I'm guessing that Hannibal Lecter { Silence of the Lambs } who
preferred living in Florence - Hannibal - { 2001 }and also was a gourmet cook
might take poetic liberty with that interpretation { " Put them in the Gravy " }.

Um ... Annuals or Perennials or just doggone flowers.
I mean,a healthy dog could ruin a batch of flowers in maybe
    one outdoor bathroom trip.

I had this once, at a restaurant on St. Croix, about thirty five years ago.

It's conch, cooked in Creole spices. I still remember it fondly.

Sauces are what make for a delectable dish. But don't overdo it.
Guys have a habit of going seasonings crazy.Once one over-seasons
a dish there is no turning back.Same with cooking a fine steak.
Plus when cooking a Roast like Beef or Pork roast you have to
let the roast rest after taking out of the Oven.Sometimes a good
15 minutes.Otherwise all those important juices bleed out quickly.
A Roast is still cooking after removing from the Oven.
I never had Conch. It's on the menu in places like Nassau.

I have a relative who is like that. He has his own secret combination of spices. It's fantastic!

I've been over there for barbeque. The meat is cooked to perfection. The spices add just the perfect flavor.

The only issue is that he puts on three times as much of his secret blend as what would be best.

I always got a real hoot when hearing about guys who thought they
could cook. Most of them were guys who collected Hot Sauces.
    My younger brother being one.
Unless one grew up in Louisiana there is no way a person
who collects Hot Sauces knows the first thing about how to use them
hot sauces.Plus Many spices and hot sauces cause obesity.
Take Paul Prudhomme.Spent the last decade of his life as a chef
sitting down and stirring his dishes.Too overweight to stand.
Quality Chefs are very busy and hard workers. They literally work
12 hour days. They gotta get to market first thing at the crack of dawn
and then close down or see to the kitchen before retiring for the evening.
James Beard was also overweight. But he was born stocky.

Some of the best food I've had was in partytown (Athens), Ohio. There was a tiny joint that had four or six tables. The menu was established each day, depending on what was available at the market.

Gee I dunno.Trump is a Gold kinda guy.Like Massive Gold guy.
I still can't fathom his N.Y. city Penthouse. The place is like
a treasured Cathedral with Gold plated everything.Plus a huge
Mural or Mosiac on the vaulted arched ceiling.I think Trumps
was of like cherubs who had wings like an archangel.
Er something as fancy schmancy as it gets.

Here, preserved for posterity, is the 'before' picture of the Japanese garden:

I have eaten snails.... twice. Not bad actually, but they discourage the consumption of the Apple snails here to keep them from spreading. They are also big plant eaters destroying habitat.

Speaking of habitat. Here are some pics of my project. I am raising crayfish 20200822_151948.jpg and sunfish. They look peacfull don't they? When food hits the tank they become master feeders. They are scary! They don't hurt but it can be a real shock when they hit your hand. They move so fast all you catch are snapshots of a side , or a back , or a fin. They come right up out of the water. 20200822_151612.jpg This is a big tank in the shed. Crawdads and fish. Right now it is about 80 gallons. It is home made from glass salvage. I also have 6 other tanks totaling over 100 gallons filling up with guppies. But I found one.... Maybe two. Nice male guppies. I bought a dozen feeder guppies for genetic selection. I want spots on mature males and flowing fins with delta or other nice finish. I separate male from female but the males are so slick they get the job done young. Anyway , I am looking for the best male and female trios for matching up in a separate tank. 20200822_155449.jpg This is my filter pond. Plants are vital. I also have 2 plastic pools with plants and crayfish. Anyway still a work in progress.

New addition to the homestead. 1997 John Deere 310 extend-a-hoe.
I bought it from a buddy of mine. I actually Operated it on a job we were on together around year 2000. First job here is a 500 foot run of 2-1/2” conduit I have to bury for the power company to bring in some lectricity onto the homestead. Gonna start on that in the morning. I need to find a new seat for it. That one has been flipped around more times than Paris Hilton.

Bring it over. Ill cook it and set the table. You'll stay for dinner, right?
Seriously, I'd eat that and a bowl a tripe on the side.
