As of today, white people face far more racism than black people. Its ingrained in our culture to tell all white people that every achievement they have is due to a fake privilege, and every failure is despite this fake privilege. We are encouraged to wash black peoples feet for something we have never done. Black people get bonus points over us in hiring processes and colleges. Everytime a white person is killed by a black person it goes unnoticed by the MSM, yet is headlines news for weeks in the reverse. Democrat policy targets white people in the form of wearing masks only a white thing, blacks can choose...or atleast that was the case for awhile.

You can stick your head in the mud and ignore all this due to your unjustified anger towards whites, but it is happening and history will look favorably upon those like myself who stand up to ALL racism, not just some.

I'm all in favor of investing in infrastructure in poor neighborhoods, making sure education from K-12 is of equal quality for all kids, and for sensible police reforms. Beyond that, the rhetoric of going back hundreds of years and "white shaming" people over slavery is overkill.

Societal change is slow, but positive change has been incrementally moving forward for the past 55 years. Today's political activists who are focusing on historical grievances are moving the clock backward, if anything.

Most black people today are not living in poverty and most white people today are not racists. Media is only highlighting tiny portions of the real American society which is one of the most egalitarian cultures in the world.

1. I'm not ashamed personally because I never benefited from anything that happened 400 years ago. The current hyper-political focus on race is putting people on the defensive and I don't see how that solves any problems.

2. I don't know what Good Ole Days you have in mind. Surely you're not going all the way back to the slavery days.

3. Yes, there are still a lot of people living in poverty. We should work on that and do better. I think the number of "sheet wearers" today is minuscule. There are racists no doubt, and I think they are concentrated geographically, mostly in the Deep South, and sparsely and sporadically across the country. But you must admit that there are racists in every race. As long as know one is interfering with someone else's life then they can maintain whatever small-minded ideas they want. It's only preventing them from having a richer and more diverse life experience, learning from and enjoying other people.

4. I don't want a false narrative. If anything, the false narrative is coming from the mass media where only life's dumpster fires get publicized make a huge profit. Division makes more money than unity. The real division is and has always been class division, not race division. The rich versus the poor. Fix poverty and racism becomes insignificant.
